“Since I live in Ponce Inlet, I've been to Down the Hatch many times and have always found their seafood to be so fresh all the time. This time I had my sons visiting me from St. Louis, they wanted to eat at the best restaurant for seafood, and of course, we went right here and it didn't disappoint. They especially loved the shecrab soup with the sherry on the side. It was scrumptious. Their dinners were wonderful, as well as the desserts. Needless to say, we went home with plenty of leftovers. Steve, the server was great. All in all, it was a perfect night. So whether you live nearby or on vacation, make it a point to dine there.“

“My sister’s wedding at North Turn Racing in Daytona was incredible! The location is stunning, but the real stars were the staff. Bret and Cathy (managers) were amazing, and Sky (event coordinator) handled everything flawlessly. Dane kept the bar lively, Jessica led a fantastic wait staff, and the band—Shawn and John—nailed it. Everyone went above and beyond to make the day perfect. Highly recommend for any special event!“

“WOW, this place has to be the best restaurant I have ever ever ever gone to, if I was ever in a situation where I had to choose my last meal it would 100% be here ! this place deserves more then 5 stars and every dinner here is a magical one. the staff and owner are so sweet and so nice, they checked up on us and made sure the food and experience was good, and the food leaves me speechless every time, im a huge fan of Indian food so when I came to this place to try it I at first wasn’t expecting much only to get completely blown away. the taste of the food has layers to it and you can taste the love and passion they put into this food! I live an hour and a half away from this place but the drive to eat here is worth it 100%%%. one time i had a really rough day and came here to pick up some food , safe to say the food made my day so much better , I swear a happy tear dropped after finishing my meal. this place stays deep in my heart and i hope as many people possible are able to try this heaven on earth. my only regret is not having a bigger vocabulary to describe this amazing food ! sending a ton of love to this place ?“

“2nd time here 1st for our friends. Living in West Palm I have excellent restaurants everywhere,SoNapa is included in my assessment. Started with a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, great. No apps but I had the soup du jour which was sausage and pepper! Never had it and I swear it could of been a sub! I shared my wife's salad which contained the right amount of dressing.
Entrees were the twin beef medallions w/ risotto. I opted for the double cut pork chop. Food was served hot, cooked as ordered and enough to take home leftovers. Coffee and dessert were fine. Throw in a bottle of Cabernet and the evening was perfect.

“I went with a group on Wednesday. I choose the Wrong lunch. it was the millionaires Grill cheese. on thick bread with thin layer of crab & lobster which was fishy. it was Not fresh or sweet. Yup, should have returned it! Everyone else's sandwiches were full & delicious looking. Hope they remove this Mill Grill cheese as it's a joke & where did they come up with that name??“

We dined outside to enjoy the beautiful day. The children’s playground out there seemed out of place. It took away from the esthetics of the place and the whole dining experience.“

Didn't have several songs, Didn't allow "the F" word. it's a bar, with Karaoke after 8, in Daytona, you should be able to sing what you want!!! Not used to seeing children at a bar at 11pm. While some are keeping their prices the same but cutting down on the portions, theirs continues to be generous relative to others... appropriate sizing and pricing for the desserts and meals because it's excellent quality. The only issue I continue to run into is the lack of a warm welcome from behind the counter when I check out. Perhaps I'm not in your target market, or I'm not going to be leaving a large tip because I'm not spending as much as others, but I'm still a customer. The owners actually always have a generous smile and thank you, but the rest of the staff definitely make me feel like I don't belong there because I'm not worthy of their wares. Lol It's weird, but it happens every time.“

“Great good on Easter Sunday. Problem:,pieces of paper on the floor (at least 5 and one larger crumpled up piece) and none of the waitresses, or the help, would stop to pick them up. Also my Cabernet had so much sediment in the bottom it left a huge skid mark up the side of the glass. Seems like a change in managers or increased training.“

If a server passed your table, with a smile they asked how everything was and did you need anything. Best staff attitude I have seen in a long time. Cudos to the Staff and mgt. Of Boondocks Port Orange. A must go.“
