For many years we would drive to Mayport for price and quality and have been in search of a good fresh fish , today we stopped in to Dan's , it is hidden and small but Dan is super friendly, clearly knows quality and has very fresh fish. We picked up Mutton Snapper and Dan walked back and showed us the whole fish which he filet the whole fish.... We will be regulars !
Stopped in after being on the beach. We were craving smoked fish dip. Guys at the counter were super friendly! They mixed up some fresh dip for us. Got the shrimp dip & some freshly made mango salsa. The mango salsa was SUPERB! Bought a bag of grouper nuggets for our evening meal. While we liked the taste of both of the dips, we prefer a thicker dip with more chunky pieces of seafood. Beautiful selection! We will be back!

Glad I found Dan’s. I’ve been driving 40 minutes from the World Golf area for his amazingly fresh fish. The swordfish and tuna steaks were beautiful and tasted incredible.
