Skully’s Low Country Boil Reviews
We actually ate at Skully’s 2 years ago. And I remember it enough to write a review all this time later. We were in Port St Joe - looking for seafood. Skully’s Low Country Boil is my hubby’s favorite birthday meal! We were there yesterday & as usual, food was amazing! No trip to the Cape is complete without Skully’s.
Great food, atmosphere, & price!
If you're not eating at Skullys, are you even staying on the Cape? Always a must when we visit. Cannot recommend them enough. Thanks fellas. See you next year.
Mr. Bill.

Skully’s Low Country Boil is a local gem that offers excellent customer service and delicious food. The owner, Paul, is friendly and welcoming. The low country boil with succulent shrimp is a must-try dish, and the gumbo is highly recommended. The establishment only accepts cash, but the kindness and hospitality of the staff make it worth a visit. It has a laid-back, backwoods Florida vibe where working-class folks serve up amazing shrimp boils and gumbo. Visitors can enjoy great food, good conversation, and southern hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere. The place has a casual, roadside shack feel with picnic tables and a cooler with free drinks out front, making guests feel like locals right away. Many customers find the food to be excellent, with plenty of shrimp and just the right amount of spice to bring out the flavor without overwhelming the palate. The gumbo is praised as delicious and highly recommended. Some visitors sign their names on the wall as a fun tradition. While some people only pick up their orders to go, others enjoy sitting and eating, soaking in the cool vibe with guitars played outside. Whether stopping by for the first time or returning each year, Skully’s offers a memorable experience with friendly service, hearty portions, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit special.
