“I was shocked that my lunch, a sandwich, fries and a drink cost 💲 18.29, and then dissappointed when the meal actually came. The board you order from barely has any pricing on it. If you’re going the charge dinner pricing for lunch, the food should at least be freaking amazing. It was my first and definitely my last time.“

“Best bbq I ever tasted! Brisket, Gator bites, Chicken wings, Ribs all cooked to perfection. I even stopped by for breafast the next morning and had my 1st better than hardees biscuits and gravy along with, "What!" smoked corned beef with poatatoes. It made our day! I heard about this place up north and can say if anyone is remotely in the Tampa area.....They should stop by!!! Thank You Jimmy Jo's!!“

“Today my family and I went to eat at the Riverview location and everything was great. We only waited about 15 minutes and our server, Isaiah was exceptional. He constantly checked on us, didn’t have to wait too much for food and the food was very good.“

“First Class all the way! Had them cater our event for over 250 people, the ‘Topping Off’ party for the new hospital being built in Riverview on 301. From Set -up, the servers and take down- 1st class!!! The food was wonderful!!! Highly recommend.“

“LI JUST FINISHED EATING THE PULLED PORK PLATTER AND IT MADE ME CURSE THEM OUT! I am extremely picky about pulled pork and baked beans coming from Alabama. This place {{{Knocked it out of the park}}}! I simply don’t care for BBQ in the Tampa Bay Area because most of the time is simply not good or a chain that is inconsistent. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STOP BY AND GOVERNMENT THEM A CHANCE. I was watching them make sample platters with brisket, chicken, pork, ribs and everything was looking incredible. I dont normally recommend places too easily but this place…. WOW“

“OMG! Mr. Ice Cream did not come to play not one game! We got 2 dinners one turkey leg dinner with potato salad and beans and he even put the bean juice on my potato salad like i asked ? then one rib dinner with potato salad and beans. We ate right in the next parking lot we couldn't even wait. It was so delicious. EVERYTHING!!! This man is a true gem, thank you for your service and we will be back!“

“First time here and will definitely be returning! Live within 5 minutes of Kojak’s and drive by it daily. Decided to finally stop in to give them a try and it did not disappoint. “I stopped here by accident thinking it was another barbecue place that I used to go to when I lived in Tampa, but I’m so glad I found this place. Everything was delicious, which is usually rare at most barbecue places. I usually get good meats and OK sides but the sides here are amazing, especially the collard greens. The price was fair & so were the portions. It’s not a place I would sit in but I will be returning next time I’m in town for to go.“

“This place was a whole vibe! I stopped by one day when I was hungry from work and it slapped! I came back to bring my husband who is a BBQ fanatic and we had a fabulous time! The food is SO good and I dream about the banana cream pudding for real. They were so nice and I highly recommend!“

“Hit this place again today, been here several times. Always very friendly, helpful service. (I'm handicap so he's helped me to the car with the soups several times.) Just finished a few months of cancer treatments, so what better way to rebuilt your health than fresh homemade chicken soup and a matzoh ball! Such great comfort food too! Today I had a potato knish with spicy mustard! Sooo good! This place is currently a brick and mortar, but will soon be going to the Florida cottage type place. ❤️“

“I have been to the Anchor Bar three or four times with my friends for lunch. Jeona has always been our server and she is attentive and polite. Refills, no problem. She is the only one serving and she has always managed to keep track of everyone. The food is good--the servings are substantial. The French Fries are the best! Although our group doesn't drink, I would suggest it for lunch whether you have a drink or not.“

This is how jerky's meant to be: thin, drier like it was in the 'original' old days, was tougher back then, which I kinda like too, chew/gnaw on it for awhile! Great job here though!! “just got home from having a wonderful meal at roadhouse. the meal was fantastic at an incredible price. the place was so busy. sunday at 5.30. but the service was exceptional. the server treated us like we were the only table there. there were 6 of us. we all took food home. we can not say enough about our positive experience. will def be back.👍“

“You walk in an immediately smell the amazing smoked meats! That smell makes you hungry!!! This was our 1st time, and decided to try the 4 meat platter with 2 sides. The brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and sausage. My favorite was the brisket, chicken and pulled pork. The French fries and fried okra were the perfect crispy. Coming from Midwest (KS) we have struggled to find a BBQ that was true to the Midwest. We have found it!!! Heath was an owner an came out and asked his customers how it was during a quick break. There was always a lot of to-go orders, and another of people in the restaurant. But the atmosphere was what you would find in an authentic BBQ in Midwest!!! LOVE IT!!! WE WILL BACK!!!!!“
