“Had lunch there today. Staff was very nice. Meranda went out of her way to make our meal nice. They stopped serving fried green tomatoes but they still had some and she had them make us some. She was very nice and I would highly recommend the service any the food. We had a group of 4 and she was so sweet she offered to take our pictures The meal was great. Will definitely be back.!“

“Best bbq I ever tasted! Brisket, Gator bites, Chicken wings, Ribs all cooked to perfection. I even stopped by for breafast the next morning and had my 1st better than hardees biscuits and gravy along with, "What!" smoked corned beef with poatatoes. It made our day! “I have been to the Anchor Bar three or four times with my friends for lunch. Jeona has always been our server and she is attentive and polite. Refills, no problem. She is the only one serving and she has always managed to keep track of everyone. The food is good--the servings are substantial. The French Fries are the best! Although our group doesn't drink, I would suggest it for lunch whether you have a drink or not.“
