“We found the angels at Junk Food Bakery when searching for someone to make our wedding cake late last year. It was last minute and we were frustrated that we couldn't find someone to make us a cake that not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing. We had a very specific flavor profile in mind.We don't live in Brevard county currently but it's our hometown and where our wedding would be. On a wedding planning weekend we stopped in, hoping for a miracle and they did not disappoint. The first thing I told them was that this was last minute (about a month out) and they said "not a problem". I told them that we had an non-traditional flavor in mind and they said "not a problem" but as it turned out, the flavors we wanted were something they normally do anyways! A coconut cake, pineapple cream cheese filling, and a coconut buttercream.....yes, it is as amazing as it sounds! They even had a cupcake in the display at the time that was similar flavors so we got to try it. We also got a few other treats and a coffee that day and everything was amazing! We even added a salted chocolate chip cookie favor to our wedding day order after trying everything. On the wedding day they delivered on time, and although I wasn't there when they dropped it off, I was told they were very professional and made sure the cake looked perfect before they left. Everyone at the wedding loved our cake, and enjoyed having something more interesting than the normal wedding flavors. Many of our guests and family now stop at the bakery as much as they can and we wished we lived closer so we could go more often.I was born and raised in Brevard and love seeing such a talented group of my peers killing it in the small business world! Can't recommend them enough.“

“As I sat for my meal, this place seemed to be short staffed. This is in no way to be negative. If the owner was not present , those three ladies deserve recognition. To whoever made my cuban sandwich.. thanks for not over killing it with mustard. Good job “

“This place is delightful. I have enjoyed Sunday brunch there as well as their new BNC, Banana River Cafe at Night. Go now, I mean right now! Wonderful food at amazing prices. I went to their Italian night and enjoyed an amazing burrata appetizer, pesto pasta with chicken and the best Cesar salad I have ever had. The service was amazing. Support this local gem!“

“Just went here for some Sunday brunch and it was so delicious! I also loved the vibe and the atmosphere. There was some nice Cuban music playing and several cozy spots to choose from. The servers were very kind and the food came out very fast. My sandwich was perfectly made. The bread was nicely toasted and the eggs were soft and fluffy. I will definitely be back again!“

“We had absolutely delightful visit at the Le Monithi Cafe. Understated elegance, attention to detail, cleanness, staff friendliness, food quality were impeccable. Tried crepes, home made cookies and late. All superb. Thank you ! :)2024, March:Quality of experience declined over the past year. Paper cups and plates replaced regular nice plates and cups. Fresh cookies are just "freshish". One person service means that it may take a while to get your order. Half of the ingredients for crepes were out. Current overall experience does not justify higher than regular prices. It become run of a mill coffee and ice cream place. Service is still nice, but that is not enough in itself. Something got lost in the last year.“

“Stopped in this place after debarking from a cruise. And we are so happy that we did! The food was hot, fresh and delicious! We would have taken photos but we were so hungry we didn't have time. We had eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes. The coffee was hot and fresh, they even have French vanilla flavoring for the coffee. The waitress was outstanding! Totally recommend! :)“

“It’s a warm and inviting experience. I love my liver and onions. I always sit at the counter. Service was always good. This particular day I came with my daughter. We set at first booth at window. This day we sat there because our dog’s was in the car. I left the windows down it was cool morning. So I asked can I let the blinds up. She was like I have to ask the people next to you. So she took her time. So I asked them they didn’t mind. So she go say the people further down. She didn’t so asked them. I let the blinds a little so I can view my dogs. My daughter order and large orange juice. She gave her small and charged is for a large. Now remember I frequent here. So I know what a large looks like. She’s not gonna to say she didn’t know. Because I seen her on many occasions. This last time I ordered out. Because I’m sick to my stomach knowing she served our food. Feeling like she done something after the chef. It has scarred me because. I experience racism probably once a year. I felt her nasty presence from the start. I should have left. I just wanted to show my daughter this place. Another waitress apologized and other waitresses been great. If the purpose was to get me to go somewhere else. Definitely failed . I will just order out. This is no reflection on the business and other staff’s. It’s a really great place. My elderly neighbors introduced me. Since moving to Florida. This is a place where we go after chemotherapy if we feeling well afterwards. Just the other day. I ordered them steak sandwiches. Because we don’t have the energy to cook. We don’t all have care takers.“

“My husband picked this place out thinking it was a traditional bar as we are not familiar with Kava. We were surprised to find they didn't serve alcohol but the drinks they did have were amazing. We got a Kava and CBD based drink flavored with ginger that was delicious. They also have a pool table, ping pong, and Foosball available while you hang out and sip your drinks. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff was so nice. Angela was our server and she kindly explained the menu and their customs. I would absolutely recommend stopping here. Thanks for a great evening!“

“When you are looking for a wonderful meal in a place that makes you feel like home, you have to stop by here. The ambiance of black and white decor is amazing. And the food is even better. They had soft jazz playing in the background that sets the mood for even a "date" breakfast...“

“Cedars Cafe- Lake Washington-5-Stars Quickly becoming a local favorite, this gem of an eatery is beginning to make a huge splash in the local culinary scene. As with most fine dining joints (Cedar's is more casual, but the food is not), Chef Toni changes her menu with the seasonal availability of the freshest ingredients. As we have cruised on past summer and are now in the fall months, I thought it would be a good time to revisit a new favorite and see what Chef Toni did with her traditional, yet eclectically mixed menu. After being seated, I hungrily listened to my server rattle off the seasonal specials and began to drool. This should be extraordinary based on what my ears were telling my palate. After a few moments taking it all in, I asked for an order of Artichoke Shawarma, Fennel Apple salad, White Yam fries, Beat salad with goat cheese, Haloumi cheese, some kafta and an order of chicken thighs in a shiitake mushroom sauce. Relaxing in the pleasant atmosphere it seemed only a moment had passed when my server was soon approaching with my food. Setting it down before me, I drank in the beautiful artistry and scintillating aromas spiraling towards the ceiling as I reached for my tools of gastronomical destruction and got to work. After one bite of the Artichoke Shawarma I knew that once again, Chef Toni has hit a home run. After using the outside of the Artichoke for another dish and wanting to be a zero-waste kitchen, Chef Toni took the artichoke hearts, through some shawarma spice on them, and plopped them on some freshly made hummus. The tastes were extraordinary. The Fennel Apple salad is a misnomer as it should read Fennel and Shaved Apple salad. With thin shavings of apple over fresh greens, fennel, fresh mint and a "secret" ingredient of orange blossom water, this salad was out of this world. Used to cleanse the palate between courses, it more than served its purpose In pursuing the freshest ingredients, Chef Toni often comes upon once in a blue moon opportunities from her local sources. Case in point, white yams. Obtaining just a few of them from a local farmer, Chef Toni worked her magic and turned them into fresh white yam fries served with an herbed, homemade tahini sauce that was a sheer delight on the palate. They were like no fries I have ever tasted before. Moving on to the most pedestrian dish, if one can call a goat cheese feta and fresh beet salad with homemade pomegranate vinaigrette drizzled over it, pedestrian. With farm-fresh beets and real honest to Athens goat cheese feta this was amazing as well. It seems that Chef Toni never misses. She must, she is only human, but I have yet to catch her off her game. After a few bites of the salad, just to make sure I had the taste down, I turned my attention to the grilled Haloumi cheese. While this is a traditional middle eastern dish, Chef Toni took traditional and turned it on its ear. With some almond dukkah seasoning and fresh local honey drizzled over it, this cheese was a far cry from the stuff I grew up on. Talk about scrumptious! While the Houlomi cheese was a far cry from my childhood, Chef Toni's take on kafta brought me right back to it. Grilled in the oven, topped with fresh hummus with tomato and onions and topping a freshly made pita, this went straight to the little boy inside the Big Boy and made him very happy. With a delicate blend of herbs and spices, this dish alone was worth the visit. Sadly, this brings me to the last item up for review, the Chicken thighs in a shiitake mushroom sauce. What can I say about this without sounding like the proverbial broken record? Using locally farmed mushrooms and chicken, this dish taste farm-fresh and danced across my taste buds. The sauce was delicate, subtle and full of flavor while the chicken was tender, juicy and had to have been alive just a few hours earlier, it tasted that fresh. This place is 5 stars all day, every day. The Big Boy says, "Just go already!"“

“The Brevard Zoo is a wonderful smaller zoo, with amazing exhibits and diversity of animals. We have season passes and it’s so nice to walk the loops in a few hours. We always see something new and exciting. But we’re big animal and nature lovers. The food is quite good, as is the gift shop. There are lots of event throughout the year. The zip line and adventure course is lots of fun. The volunteers are wonderful, too.“

“This is the best breakfast in Brevard County. I've been to a number of places and this one always outranks them in food quality, taste, and service.I love the shaved ribeye and the Mac and cheese sandwich. Both supremely amazing. I've had nearly everything on the menu and am never disappointed. The seasonal pancake is also usually worth a try. So far my favorite seasonal was snickerdoodle with the cream cheese frosting. Also, the chicken and waffles or gator and waffles, if you don't read the description you miss out on the fact the waffle is a citrus waffle and it is amazing. I love the citrus waffle! They have Mr Pibb on tap so I am a happy camper!Parking: Open parking lot shared with businesses nearby. I've never had any issues finding a spot.“

“The Greenhouse is our Friday favorite. The staff is great. We come down for adventure. Good American food. Daily specials are always good, fresh and come with a drink. It is the best lunch value on the cape. Wish they would bring back the shrimp pivot on Friday, but the shrimp and seafood baskets are piled high and served fast. The mushroom Swiss burger is my second go to, there are so many good things to choose from. We appreciate the NOTU team for letting us visit as often as we can even under these trying times.“

“This food is so much better then Camp Lejeune. I mean common USMC. I retired in 2016 and was used to getting soggy chicken wings and a salad Buffett run by people with autism. By autism I mean an E5 Navy SK got njp for hooking up with a disabled person. This chow is great. I do believe management needs a kick in the butt for only keeping one elderly white person on the pizza area while the usual Filipino Mafia and crew get to chit chat on the food line not even caring to offer a helping hand. I had a female 04 and male 05 agree with me on this watching her bust her butt. Great food needs better leadership. Oh yeah the views the bees knees.“

“Cute place in the heart of cocoa beach. Seemingly the only place open early in the morning to get coffee in cocoa beach that's not a Dunkin. The coffee is phenomenal. At least what I got was like a mix of the full nosiness of sinking and the smoothness of Starbucks. Would definitely recommend just off coffee alone.“

Our meals were served hot and in reasonable time. The restaurant closes at 230 so be early if you don’t want to wait a bit. My wife loved her pancakes and biscuits n gravy. The serving were large so we were able to share. We would definitely return for a meal.“

“? Cute Theme - Yummy Boba ?This place can get busy and backed up, so if you plan to get a boba tea, plan to wait around a little bit while it’s prepared. However, the tea itself is delicious. There are also a variety of Asian sweets, snacks, and drinks to choose from (like pocky!). There’s a cute corner of plushies and artwork on display, as well as the large teddy bear you have ever seen in your life! It’s located near Hot Topic, so if you’re an otaku looking for a treat to match all that sweet anime merchandise you just nabbed, but sure to check out Bunny Boba Tea!“
