“Staff was so nice!! Best tasting dominos pizza I’ve ever ordered too. Two guys at the counter greeted my partner and I, handed over my pizza and waved us off. I ordered and paid online and this was the quickest and most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at any takeout establishment. The cheesy bread was crispy and gooey in the middle yummm!“

The food and service there never fail to impress. I often find myself declaring Indian cuisine as my top pick among all the international flavors out there! The warmth of Indian hospitality is truly delightful. Our waiter, Akhil, is exceptional—his attentive and meticulous service stands out every time. The restaurant consistently maintains a pristine, fresh, and elegantly appointed atmosphere. Akhil and the manager went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. They surprised us with a scrumptious slice of mango cheesecake, adorned with a candle, and handed me a lighter to ignite it and mark the occasion! How thoughtful is that? “My husband and I just enjoyed dinner there this past Saturday and my goodness!!!.. we were not only blown away by the food, wine and dessert; but the service Kelci provided! The Mullett 3 ways appetizer was incredible. The coconut encrusted mahi with pina colada rice (and don’t even get me started on the crispy scallions!) was DEVINE. To finish off with the PERFECT key lime pie was just…well, perfect! We love Blue Dog, can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go back and truly ask for Kelci; so on it, so sweet, no rushing, helpful etc. everything positive!“

“We go to Ford’s for lunch and dinner during the week because we love the menu and service/. My wife needs gluten free food and this is one of the few places that is committed to keeping the few prep clean so there is no cross contamination. Bri and Kristen answered her questions and addressed her concerns and the manager came out to reinforce Ford’s commitment as well as deliver the food. Our bartenders kept us hydrated and jumped through hoops to make our dining experience excellent. Thanks Kristen and Bri!“

“We recently moved right down the road from Marti’s and this has become our favorite breakfast place. I grew up going to Pete’s Time Out on Fort Myers Beach, went almost every weekend until we no longer could and they had the best breakfast. I am so happy we found Marti’s because it’s just as good, if not better!!! Everyone there is so friendly. Support your local business, it’s worth every penny 🥰“

“My husband and I came here last night and we had a great time. Hannah was an absolute gem, she happily answered all our questions and recommended good choices off the menu. We had the Hogfather sandwich on sourdough with fries, the chicken tenders tossed with the cilantro, corn, cojita cheese and other spices (they were huge) and we tried the gouda mac and cheese. We weren't too impressed with the mac and cheese but it was good, and the rest of the food was fantastic. My husband also loved their old fashioned.

They had a cover singer was wonderful as well.

We will definitely return if we head back to Ft. Meyers.“

“This the Classic French restaurant you’re going to share with good friends! We were a group of 10 foodies from various and distinct backgrounds. We did the prefix dinner with wine pairings. Our expectations were high based on what we read about this jem and none was disappointed. The escargot and onion soup were spot on, the trout almondine and Beef Bourguignon were exceptional, but by far the star of the meal was the steak frites. A sublime surprise accompanied by a bordelaise sauce, a side of béarnaise and a small crock of blue cheese sauce shared by the chef! The wine pairings were all from Bordeaux, decanted and beyond excellent. Do not forget to order dessert! I can’t wait for our next rendezvous“

“Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“

“The Dek Bar is a fantastic spot to grab some drinks and enjoy excellent bar food! It has that perfect dive bar vibe—laid-back, fun, and full of energy. When we visited, the place was definitely happening and packed, but the vibe was so welcoming and lively, we didn’t mind at all.

The bartenders were awesome—super friendly, attentive, and fast despite the crowd. What really impressed us was the food. For a dive bar, the quality was way above expectations! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and hit the spot.

“We had a fantastic dinner at GatorBites Tail & Ale. Amber, our server, was perfectly attentive and timed everything just right. Nick, the owner, added charm by working the floor as a “pretend bus boy” before joining us for a great conversation that made the evening even more memorable.

As a lifelong foodie who usually cooks high-end meals at home, I was genuinely impressed. Some of the negative reviews I’d seen beforehand now seem baffling — this place exceeded expectations across the board.

The food was outstanding. The beer-battered shrimp were the best I’ve ever had — light, crispy, and flavorful. The wings were excellent, and my wife loved her smoked pulled pork sandwich. Their signature fresh gator was also a standout. First-timers: go for the virgin breaded version — it’s far more tender and crispy than the flavored options.

Prices are very fair, especially considering the quality. The cocktails are strong and well-made, and their house IPA, Reef Donkey, was a surprise hit — easily the best IPA I’ve had.

Despite being a sports bar-style venue, it’s spotlessly clean, welcoming, and delicious. It’s a little off the beaten path, but absolutely worth the effort to find. We’ll definitely be back.“

“We have been to here a few times while coming to sanibel every August! We love it. But this year, we loved It so much we ate it three days in a row! Food is by far the best on Captive Island and service is out of this world! Do yourself a favor and don’t sleep on this place! It’s our new favorite! “The waterfront atmosphere was beautiful. Our waitress Angie was very accommodating by bringing water for the 2 dogs with us. She was very friendly and helpful with inquiring about certain ingredients in the food. (My friend has allergies). I had the shrimp scampi and it was delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. My friend was totally satisfied with her fish dinner too. I highly recommend this dining experience. Sean the manager, was also very friendly and accommodating.“
