“Staff was so nice!! Best tasting dominos pizza I’ve ever ordered too. Two guys at the counter greeted my partner and I, handed over my pizza and waved us off. I ordered and paid online and this was the quickest and most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at any takeout establishment. The cheesy bread was crispy and gooey in the middle yummm!“

“My husband and I just enjoyed dinner there this past Saturday and my goodness!!!.. we were not only blown away by the food, wine and dessert; but the service Kelci provided! The Mullett 3 ways appetizer was incredible. The coconut encrusted mahi with pina colada rice (and don’t even get me started on the crispy scallions!) was DEVINE. To finish off with the PERFECT key lime pie was just…well, perfect! We love Blue Dog, can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go back and truly ask for Kelci; so on it, so sweet, no rushing, helpful etc. everything positive!“

“This has been my husband and I’s favorite restaurant for 5 years now and we take any chance we can to go here. Their crab Rangoon is the best we have ever had and their sushi is amazing. Our daughter loves their orange chicken and kids meals. They even have great cocktails and are reasonably priced.“

My wife needs gluten free food and this is one of the few places that is committed to keeping the few prep clean so there is no cross contamination. “We recently moved right down the road from Marti’s and this has become our favorite breakfast place. I grew up going to Pete’s Time Out on Fort Myers Beach, went almost every weekend until we no longer could and they had the best breakfast. “My husband and I came here last night and we had a great time. Hannah was an absolute gem, she happily answered all our questions and recommended good choices off the menu. We had the Hogfather sandwich on sourdough with fries, the chicken tenders tossed with the cilantro, corn, cojita cheese and other spices (they were huge) and we tried the gouda mac and cheese. We weren't too impressed with the mac and cheese but it was good, and the rest of the food was fantastic. My husband also loved their old fashioned.

They had a cover singer was wonderful as well.

We will definitely return if we head back to Ft. Meyers.“

“I’ve been meaning to write this review for weeks, and I’m sorry to have put it off!

My husband and I spent a quiet Thanksgiving together on Sanibel and decided to go out to dinner. Everywhere we tried was booked or closed (totally on us). I finally found Blue Rendezvous, and it seemed romantic and lovely. I’m so glad we found it!

From the start, it felt like walking into a little neighborhood bistro. The hostess/owner was SO kind and accommodating. Being New Englanders, we weren’t afraid of the “cold” (it was in the high 60s…) so we opted to sit outside. We were the only ones out there as we had a later reservation, and it was perfect. The hostess turned the music on and made our little spot so perfect.

When a family with very young children sat down and complained about the service being slow (they had no reservations on a major holiday on a small island, and I was honestly embarrassed at how they were treating the staff), the staff rushed to accommodate their last minute request. The family was not pleased, and left in a hurry; fine by us! The staff clearly felt badly, but they did everything they could, and frankly more, to help these folks who were really not being very gracious. As a business owner and someone who worked in restaurants for a long time, they handled it with grace.

Our waitress was amazing, and had the best suggestions! We both went for the prix fixe menu. Every single thing was delicious, from the French onion soup to the beef bourguignon that tasted exactly how my grandmother made it. The cocktails and wine were the perfect complement, and the crème brûlée was some of the best we’ve ever had!

If you’re on Sanibel, do not miss out on this newer restaurant! The service, food, and experience were 10/10, and we will definitely be back. Thank you!“

“Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“Ok. If I were driving by, which I was would have totally wrote this place off. My brother told me about it and I stopped in when I was next in town. Great atmosphere, great staff, and an owner who really cares about quality of food and service. Prices more than reasonable with healthy serving (Mahi Mahi fish sticks) and live music and plenty of sports.
