This place is going down hill so fast.
I worked here for over two years and never under the old management were things so disgusting. Tables left uncleaned - Flies everywhere from the tables left uncleaned. Sat there for three hours with my family and watched three different dirty tables completely untouched. Wasn’t busy at all…. If it was busy I could understand. But I guess the hostess and Alexandra were too busy playing on their phones in the back. Not to mention Alexandra...read full review
My husband and son went tonight for dinner…..asked the bartender if it was ok that my son (he’s 18) sat at the bar with my husband, she said yes as long as he’s with his parent. He got a coke, husband got a couple beers. Been there for almost an hour and a half, ate, and was waiting to pay the bill…..manager came up asked my sons age which he replied 18, told him he couldn’t sit there and to leave. Meantime waiting to pay the bill. Only about 10 people in the restaurant...read full review
Setup for our local Middle School Football team to meet there and reserved the outdoor patio on Monday, for Thursday night. we were asked to be there an hour and a half early to ensure the spaces would be held, when we arrived at 545 for a 730 event, we were told they wouldnt accomodate us. Gator's Dockside St. Johns recently reopened after a kitchen fire, serving up delicious food with new equipment. The combo platter and Philly steak egg rolls were tasty, while the boneless wings made from chicken breast were tender and flaky, especially with Cajun ranch sauce. However, customers have noted that the wings have been getting smaller, which has made them question whether to return. Despite some service delays for a 6-person table, the hot food arrived quickly. A burger was overcooked, and the kitchen seemed overwhelmed at times. Prices may be a concern, with a bill over $40 for fish and chips, gator tail appetizer, and iced tea. The atmosphere is family-friendly but can get noisy, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Customers also enjoyed the buffalo chicken salad with suicide sauce, crispy fried pickles, and the BLT with sweet potato fries. The staff is friendly, and the bartender, Randy, has received praise for his attentiveness and food suggestions.
