“Fantastic staff, food, and drinks“

“Good food and portions, only problem is that everytime we go, I have to tell them to please turn down the (annoying) music. The employees have it loud for their benefit but my wife and I could hardly hear each other plainly. There were other patrons in the restaraunt that I know had the same issue but no one speaks up. Music is supposed to be BACKGROUND music - not a concert. Many other restaraunts do the same.“

That extra charge is like "the straw that broke the camel's back". Calculate the loss in repeat business vs. that charge. Doesn't add up. Something for management to think about.“

“Wow! I did not expect to love this place as much as I did! This is the best ramen I’ve had in Florida by a long shot. I got the Miso Ramen and Takoyaki as an App. The Miso broth had so much depth and complexity. The brisket on top was so delicious too. I wish the egg was more of a ramen egg, but the onsen tamago was cooked to perfection. I had no seen pickles in a ramen but they paired so well with the broth. The noodles were perfectly chewy as well.

The atmosphere was Izakaya like when sitting at the bar. The Japanese TV shows, anime figurines, and selection of Japanese beers all felt very on point!

Ramen is one of the food that is better left to the professionals and I’d say this restaurant knows what it is doing!“

“This is one of the very best Sushi restaurants that i have ever eaten at. The service was spectacular and the selection of sushi and sashimi was stupendous. I have eaten in many Sushi restaurants and I have to say this is by far my favorite . Whenever we are in St. Augustine I know we will eat there again. My husband, who does not like sushi, also loved the food he was able to get.“

“I’m from out of town and stay in the Baymeadows area for 2 extended periods during the calendar year. Metro Diner Southside has been my go-to breakfast stop for the past 6 years. The staff is so much fun to deal with, and it’s flattering to know that they recognize me whenever I stop in. The usual fare for me is standard food (omelettes/fried egg, meat, hash browns, toast); however, today’s choice was the pork chop & eggs special. Thoughts? This needs to be placed on the regular menu. Wow! The pork chop was “over-the-top” delicious and was a perfect match with the other items on my plate (OE eggs/HBs/biscuit). I’m hoping (praying?) that this dish stays on the specials list through this weekend! Special shoutouts to my 3 favorite servers (Rachel, Jacklyn, & Monica-all in a tie for 1st place) and to today’s greeter (whose name I can’t recall and apologize for that). From helping each one with their order to Doggy Bags To-go. We had 9 guest visiting. The shake machine was down initially but as soon as it was up, a staff member made sure everyone got their order in and delivered. One gentleman sat at the bar with his beer and the bartender. Wine was enjoyed with the Porta Bello and oh my the loaded tater tots! Burgers were cooked to perfection. And trust me...I work with a very picky crowd! Above all... Royce was such a gentleman and extremely attentive to all of my sweet people. They all raved about our visit all the way home.
