“first time at this restaurant! Calm and comfortable, does not boast a giant venue at all. the art work and decor were gorgeous! the service was stellar, even when I expressed my concern for the taste of the uni served, the staff and cooks were very accommodating and understanding to the concern. All the sushi and rolls made were so delicious and fresh. I ordered the rainbow roll, which was incredibly delicious with the kani crab adding a perfect sweetness to the fresh tuna, salmon and escola. Also had their spicy tuna which had a unique blend of the Chile and sesame oil, very tasty! even the tempura fried rolls were incredible, the batter was light and crispy and savory all at once. I cannot recommend a better restaurant for the area!“

“Always a fun time and great food. Service is always outstanding. I have eaten here many times and have always left happy. The food is always fresh and tasty. Per other reviews the prices can seem to be a bit high but they are running a business at the beach where rents are high.“

“Wonderful casual family-owned sushi/hibachi restaurant in the heart of St Pete! We made a reservation through Google and our table for 10 was ready when we arrived. The owner and his son Khoi were so welcoming and attentive. We tried a huge variety of sushi, salads, seared tuna, and hibachi entrées. All were absolutely delicious with very generous portions and reasonable prices. Tons of gluten-free and vegetarian options and the ginger salad dressing was so good I brought home my leftovers! Highly recommend for carryout or dine in and look forward to returning again soon. Loved Mr. sushi!!!“

“I just went for my birthday with a friend. The servers and chef were all attentive and friendly. I got the hibachi chicken and shrimp meal. The food was very good and the portions were huge. I really appreciated that they didn’t make us join another group. The decor is so cool and pretty. It’s a great place to celebrate a special occasion. There’s also a regular dining area that looks like a good date spot. I’ll definitely go back!“

“I am always wary of take out sushi as it can be a hit or miss. Ichiban is a direct hit!! I got tuna ad salmon nigiri/sashimi and the quality was spot on and delicious. no soy sauce needed. Also go the Red Dragon Specialty roll - amazing, spicy and no mayo which was great! This will be my weekly go to!!“

“Jimmy’s is consistently the best sushi in the St Petersburg area. He has a great staff and it has a very welcoming atmosphere. We have been going here for over 15 years and still look forward to our next visit. Sushi is fresh and restaurant is very clean!“

“Tokyo Ramen is amazing! I went there with my daughter for boba tea and it's the best place we've tried so far. The cashier was nice and she had our drinks finished so quickly. While there weren't many people there at the time we went, it was a great place to sit and chill with friends and get a nice meal! Overall a great place to try out!“
