“I’ve been seeing the gateway subs guys on instagram and realized the Pasadena location was on my way home yesterday. I ordered online. Their website allows you to order and customize your meal very well. It was easy to place and pay for the order online. I swung by on my way home and my order was done 10 min early. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I’m so glad I saw them on IG because it’s in a strip mall and I might not have noticed it otherwise. It’s just on the east side of the Corey Ave bridge so it’s very convenient for people coming or going to the beach. Oh…and the sandwiches were GREAT!“

My favorites are the Jalapeño Holly Chicken Salad, (& kudos to the Classic Carol), the wheatberry bread (& that they give u an option to toast it) & the loaded baked potato soup. And you could get the Broccoli Side Salad as an appetizer or even a meal - the broccoli florets are fresh, small and cooked just right, with fresh bacon bits, grated carrot & grated cheese and a balanced salad dressing: very fresh, filling, & very yum. Def can’t complain that I get a pickle spear and a very yummy cookie with the Meal Options. The buttercream cookie is scrumdidiliumscious. “we didn't really care for the food. the fries had a grease taste and the gyro sauce tasted funny. the prices are quite high. for 3 people it was over 60.00 for gyros fries and drinks. we should have gone somewhere else for those prices. The add on combo options were really ridiculous. A gyro for 12.00 wow. I won't be back.“

Got the sunny again and the Albuquerque Turkey the second day and the turkey was just a regular turkey sandwich so wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something original.“

The head chef went to the strawberry festival in Plant City yesterday, so all of today's specials (written in neon colors on a sandwich board outside the entrance) featured strawberries. They got me with strawberry cheesecake. Altogether, the cost was $22, which I thought was pricey until I saw the amount of food I was given. There was so much I needed a to go container (which is rare for me). Well worth the price!“

“They respectfully and professionally explained that they don't accept coupons at their location. They shared with me 2 or 3 other locations that do accept coupons. They noticed that my party had coupons in our hands and were able to let me know before ordering. I appreciated knowing this before attempting to use the coupons at the register. The staff was thinking ahead and was on top of things to warn me about their coupon policy. Both staff members were quiet and kept busy attending to customers and the store.“
“So my son is on the spectrum, and his diet is made up of very few items that he will eat. However, he wanted to try Subway, and so I was like, Yes! So we went to our neighborhood subway, which is within walking distance from our house, and when we got there, I was unsure what he would ask for. He wanted a meatball sub. However, knowing my son and his habits, I asked the gentleman behind the counter if he could just sample a meatball. So he made him one. Which I thought was above and beyond great customer service. My son was not adverse to the meatball but didn't seem to really think it was something he would eat an entire sub of.So we asked for kind of a custom chicken mozzarella Mariana sub, and they obliged. They were so patient with us and made us feel comfortable. Wines, beers are available, small bar seating available we always take out. Parking can be iffy but the food is worth it.“
