“We happened upon the Billy Bowleg pirate festival in Fort Walton Beach today! We had lunch at the Big Red Truck! It was so good! My husband and i split the shrimp basket. Plenty of food and so flavorful! We are from Louisiana so naturally our expectations are kinda high when it comes to food and we were blown away by the food. It was so good!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!“

“It's not the prettiest place but the best biscuits in town by far! I go here for the veggies too! Easy, in and out, food to go or you can dine in though it's a lot of our construction crews here eating on the way to work, at break or for their lunch.

“I can't say enough great things about Commelfo. From the first time I went there a few years ago with friends I was enamored with the food, cocktails and atmosphere. They have not disappointed since! I live 5 minutes away and it has become my local go to for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch and Dinner. There is nothing there I have had that isn't delicious. I work in a cafe from time to time, so I know it could've just been a "SHE'S on the register, I'M only doing drinks today"... but still, when a guest is standing right in front of you with no other employee, obviously speaking to/repeating themself to you, if you absolutely truly cannot assist them, at the very least say, "Sorry, I don't know how to [XYZ]."“

“Our experience at FatBoys was outstanding! Madden, our server, quickly fixed the flickering lights, which was a huge relief for our autistic son. The hostess and team (Camille, Emma, Pam, and Emilee) were incredibly kind and attentive. The food was fantastic—we loved the steak and cheese eggrolls, the perfectly cooked bacon burger, and our son enjoyed the lumberjack burger. Everything was hot and delicious. Highly recommend!“

“We have been to Bijoux over the last few years and each time has been truly amazing! The food has never disappointed and the service is wonderful (we really like Lisa as our server). The wine selection is not huge but does have very nice options for any occasion. Great appetizers (Crab Beignets are a favorite) and their Filet Mignon is the best we have found in South Walton. Last evening my wife and I split the 20oz Cowboy Ribeye (med. rare +) and it was so good! They also make their own desserts and we usually get the Cheesecake (last night’s was Orange Marscapone) and a couple of scoops of sorbet(so good!). Can’t wait to go back again.“

“Surf hut is always our go-to when in Destin. We usually go twice. The shrimp tacos are amazing!! Just spent the week in Destin and had great food and awesome service both times we went. Went Wednesday around 5pm had a lady server who was so friendly and took our family picture for us. The food was fantastic and super quick. Our family of 3 was seated with no wait. Went again on Saturday around 6:30pm, no wait time, and had great food and even better service. Clark our server was so nice and helpful and went above and beyond during our meal service.“

“Fun place for kids (if your kids want to wain about 1-1 1/2 hours) good food. The kids meals come with a bucket and shovel. We waited outside and the adults can have a drink while they wait because there is a bar. Good walking distance from Destiny By The Sea. On the way back we caught sand crabs on the beach. (we walked back on the beach) I have also been to the one in Pensacola Florida and it deserves the same amount of stars.

The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the small charcuterie board was $30 and I understand the cheese is gourmet, but I still thought that was overpriced. Overall good experience, but expect to pay a little more than you may have thought.“

“I was visiting friends who live in Santa Rosa and we came to the wine bar on two different afternoons. First time we sat at the bar and had a few glasses of wine. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff friendly.

We were shopping a few days later and we stopped in again and had some Sauvignon Blanc and the lunch salmon special. Which was very good! But we really enjoyed speaking with Savannah who was bartending that day! She was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed it!
