As great as our food was, the friendly service provided by Bailley was as good as the food. She does a excellent job with her customers”

“My friends and I have been coming to Sanibel for 24 years. This year was hard for me personally. Recently diagnosed with Alpha Gal a severe allergy to many things including meat dairy eggs and others. Already was allergic to gluten. I was afraid I wouldn't have food options on the island until I found The Sanibel Sprout. Their coconut bacon BLT saved my life and I went there 5 out of 7 days. The ladies there are amazing and they even have Bible verses painted on shells you can buy. I would highly recommend and just wanted to say thank you for taking such good care of me!”

“Our beach wedding was torrential downpour rained out 😭. Robin to the rescue! She pulled it all together and we were able to gather everyone and do our vows in the loft where our reception was scheduled to be!!! It was perfect and the food and service was amazing! Everyone had a great time! Thank you so much to Robin and the entire staff!”

“Really good food shop for takeaway. The food was fresh, tasty, and well packed, which made it easy to carry and eat later. The portion sizes were good, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. the service was quick and efficient. The staff were friendly and handled orders professionally. The shop was clean and well organized. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good takeaway food. Will definitely order again.”

“We had an exceptional dining experience at Shima Japanese Restaurant, featuring the Miyazaki Anraku Wagyu Yakiniku. The chefs and restaurant host, who flew in specially from Japan, took the time to introduce the exquisite cuts of Wagyu, adding a personal and authentic and fun touch. The 16-course set was masterfully paced — every dish arrived in perfect timing, building anticipation and delight with each surprise. The presentation was visually stunning, and the flavors were refined yet comforting. Portions were all size so very bite of the Wagyu was tender, rich, and satisfying yet not too much. The wagyu roll and the sandwich cutlet, were my favourites. Grilling the beef ourselves at the table with friends — a fun and interactive. Even small details, like the beautifully curated tableware and fragrant, freshly steamed rice served in a special pot, reflected attention to detail. Service was warm and attentive throughout. The restaurant maintained excellent ventilation, so we left without any lingering grill aroma, and the complimentary parking was a thoughtful convenience. We left the restaurant with a smiles and a happy tummies. Outstanding meal in both flavour and presentation. Good place to hosts family and friends.”

“I brought 15 people from Germany, plus myself and another captain, for lunch via two boats yesterday. Dock help was excellent, so was the food and the service staff were outstanding.”

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.”

“We are on a girls weekend trip, we came across Pinocchio's Original Italian Ice Cream on our first night and it was so delicious that we had to go back on our second night. Our dinner plans ran over and we pulled in to Pinocchio's at 9:02pm. We were greeted by the sweetest employees Maddy & Talon. They let the five of us in and served us with a smile! We were in and out in less than 5 or so minutes. They made our night!! We made sure to tip well! We likely will go back for our third and final night on the island!”

“All the food was good. We tried Cuban sandwich, shrimp tacos, Cobb salad and the burger. The best thing was the truffle fries! We are going back just for that! The pool area was loud. Music first, then bingo!”

“I felt like I was back home. I’m from Pittsburgh and the owners are from there too. I met John and he and his staff made us feel welcomed. The atmosphere is nice, as well as decked out in Steeler paraphernalia. So if you’re a Steelers fan, you will love it. My wife got a BA fish sandwich. It was HUGE, and delicious. We also got a 16” pizza pie, the great white shark. It was delicious. Prices are great, service is terrific and food is hot and fresh. What else can you ask for. We will be back.”

“Wow! Had never been until last night, although we frequently visit Sanibel. Can’t say enough about the quality of the food. My new all time favorite. A salad with tomatoes, watermelon, mozzarella, roasted pumpkin seed and a great dressing. Smoked tenderloin was a unique and fantastic dish.”
