“We stopped in on Friday after a long day at the Sanibel beach, and after thinking it was to good to be true, we returned on Saturday just to be sure! Cajun & Creole is my absolute favorite food so I couldn’t wait to try this place! I was amazed from the start! The atmosphere is awesome with authentic New Orleans feel and decor! There is outdoor seating, balcony seating, and 2 floors of indoor seating. But the food is where we were really amazed! We tried just about everything on the menu from appetizers to deserts. The Bayou Shrimp were huge and the freshest quality I’ve had. The Shrimp Cargot were also amazing. Not sure if the Remoulade is made in house but it is phenomenal! We tried the Chicken and Andouille Gumbo and it was loaded with both! We also had the Crab & Corn bisque and there had to be a pound of crabmeat in each bowl! It was soooooo good!!! All of the pastas were great! My son had the crawfish Mac & cheese twice! The swamp pasta was one of the most diverse dishes I’ve ever had and possibly the best dish I’ve ever had! I did add a crab cake to it for a few extra dollars. The shrimp Po boy had 12 giant fried shrimp and thin cut pickles (I hate pickles but these were toooo good not to eat!). Again it came with the amazing Remoulade! The catfish Po boy had 4 LARGE fillets of perfectly fried Cajun catfish, lettuce, pickles and of course Remoulade. My wife got the shrimp platter and had them shaken in Buffalo Sauce with a side of the ranch. We wrapped up with the Cajun Beignets drizzled with chocolate and they were the best I’ve ever had! Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m pretty sure Mudbugs is now officially my favorite restaurant on earth! I wish we had tried it sooner and ate there a few more times! I can’t wait to go back and try the Ribeye dragged through the Bayou! (Dragged through the Bayou is cooked with Cajun Garlic butter and covered in crawfish tails or shrimp ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️) The drinks were great! The atmosphere is awesome! The staff was very friendly, quick and very precise! Location is on the main road and the parking is very convenient. I wish I had pictures to share, but honestly we were too hungry to stop for pictures and everything was soooooo good that we didn’t wait for the camera to come out! I cannot wait to get back!“

As always, the cheeses (all of them are delicious), the main course (meats, seafood, and veggies), and the desserts were amazing. Such a great night and really brings the family together.“

The food and service there never fail to impress. I often find myself declaring Indian cuisine as my top pick among all the international flavors out there! The warmth of Indian hospitality is truly delightful. Our waiter, Akhil, is exceptional—his attentive and meticulous service stands out every time. The restaurant consistently maintains a pristine, fresh, and elegantly appointed atmosphere. Akhil and the manager went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. They surprised us with a scrumptious slice of mango cheesecake, adorned with a candle, and handed me a lighter to ignite it and mark the occasion! How thoughtful is that? “The restaurant has a great water view. We were there for Mother’s Day and they had a buffet brunch. The food and service were both good. We’ll definitely be back for their regular dinner menu.“

“Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

Our experience at Bongo's Beach Bar & Grill was a great one. Definitely plan on going back in the future. Awesome location for live music. The wings were probably some of the best wings that we have found here in SWFL. The Beverage Manager, Toby, was a delight to talk to. He checked in on us a couple of times, and we talked music with him. Toby made it a personal experience rather than all business. That's exactly what we appreciate when it comes to taking care of customers.“

“Stopped in quick with my wife just to get a drink and a few apps.
The restaurant is on the second level overlooking the water and boats.
First off, the service was phenomenal. The host was easy going, took us outside but that was a bit cold with the rain. No issue, moved us inside.
Our server was great. He was attentive but not pushy or overbearing.
We ordered the Octopus and Crab Cakes appetizers. Honestly, the octopus itself had no flavor. I've never had octopus before so not sure there, but the scampi sauce was very good.
The crab cakes were also very good and a good size too.

Overall, I would definitely go back.“

CROSS CONTAMITION IS HAPPENING! my wife took 1 bite of their pizza and threw up 3x and 2 shits AND her stomach started to hurt within 5 mins! left a review on their Google and the owner wants to call us liars. You don't just get sick like that if there is no cross contaminated food. Gloves are not being changed enough, hands are not being washed enough, utensils are not being cleaned enough or well for that matter and who knows what else. already reported this business for food safety concerns. my wife is a cook, serve safe certified and takes cooking VERY SERIOUS and she instantly knew it was cross contaminated, but again the owner thinks people lie about something like this for no reason. 2+ years of this being a favorite pizza spot to now being the absolute worst we have ever dealt with. also, we have ordered the EXACT SAME PIZZA FOR 2+ YEARS... Cecilian pizza with ONLY BACON & PEPERONI... never once has it ever had CHUNCKY CANNED TOMATOS, CHUCKS OF GARLIC, COOKED SHREDDED LETTUCE HIDDEN UNDER THE CHEESE but owner wants to call us liars about it and says it's always been that way... we know what we eat, clearly this struck a nerve with the owner as it should.... YOU GOT SOMEONE SICK! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!“

“I love my mom and pop shops up north but I have not been able to find a real good Italian one here in Florida, it's so many frozen food franchises:(. That is until I found this place! The food was very tasty and authentic. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had thr lasagna, both were delicious. The serving size was huge as well, I had enough for a big lunch the next day. We also had the mozzarella wedges which were yummy. The bread was pretty good too, dipped in olive oil of course. The atmosphere felt very cozy and reminded me of how traditional restaurants should be! Service was great oo. We'll be going back to try other dishes and apps.“

Their authentic gumbo and creole jambalaya will warm your heart. If you happen to want an even warmer heart, you can up the heat with the ghost pepper version. You will encounter some great cooks and some attentive servers who will make your visits habit-forming!“

“The Dek Bar is a fantastic spot to grab some drinks and enjoy excellent bar food! It has that perfect dive bar vibe—laid-back, fun, and full of energy. When we visited, the place was definitely happening and packed, but the vibe was so welcoming and lively, we didn’t mind at all.

The bartenders were awesome—super friendly, attentive, and fast despite the crowd. What really impressed us was the food. For a dive bar, the quality was way above expectations! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and hit the spot.
