“Panko fried shrimp Very good! Cooked to perfection. Coleslaw flavorful! Margarita flat bread *amazing. For an appetizer, it was flavorful, colorful, and filling. Chicken tenders *crunchy, juicy, filling. For an appetizer it was enough to fill me for lunch. Mary was our server and she did a fantastic job. Mom and I had Doc's for lunch and have leftovers to enjoy for later and will be back again!“

The food and service there never fail to impress. I often find myself declaring Indian cuisine as my top pick among all the international flavors out there! The warmth of Indian hospitality is truly delightful. Our waiter, Akhil, is exceptional—his attentive and meticulous service stands out every time. The restaurant consistently maintains a pristine, fresh, and elegantly appointed atmosphere. Akhil and the manager went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. “Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“The best steak and cheese sub I’ve had in a while, the potato salad was great too. I went during a rush and still received a quality sub in a timely fashion that wasn’t thrown together. The lady behind the counter was extremely nice and professional. What a great experience considering the quality and attitude you get from most places these days even when it’s not busy.“

Our experience at Bongo's Beach Bar & Grill was a great one. Definitely plan on going back in the future. Awesome location for live music. The wings were probably some of the best wings that we have found here in SWFL. The Beverage Manager, Toby, was a delight to talk to. He checked in on us a couple of times, and we talked music with him. Toby made it a personal experience rather than all business. That's exactly what we appreciate when it comes to taking care of customers.“

“Stopped in quick with my wife just to get a drink and a few apps.
The restaurant is on the second level overlooking the water and boats.
First off, the service was phenomenal. The host was easy going, took us outside but that was a bit cold with the rain. No issue, moved us inside.
Our server was great. He was attentive but not pushy or overbearing.
We ordered the Octopus and Crab Cakes appetizers. Honestly, the octopus itself had no flavor. I've never had octopus before so not sure there, but the scampi sauce was very good.
The crab cakes were also very good and a good size too.

Overall, I would definitely go back.“

“I love my mom and pop shops up north but I have not been able to find a real good Italian one here in Florida, it's so many frozen food franchises:(. That is until I found this place! The food was very tasty and authentic. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had thr lasagna, both were delicious. The serving size was huge as well, I had enough for a big lunch the next day. We also had the mozzarella wedges which were yummy. The bread was pretty good too, dipped in olive oil of course. The atmosphere felt very cozy and reminded me of how traditional restaurants should be! Service was great oo. We'll be going back to try other dishes and apps.“

“terrible owner who thinks they can call their customers liars when they get sick off of their food. CROSS CONTAMITION IS HAPPENING! my wife took 1 bite of their pizza and threw up 3x and 2 shits AND her stomach started to hurt within 5 mins! left a review on their Google and the owner wants to call us liars. You don't just get sick like that if there is no cross contaminated food. Gloves are not being changed enough, hands are not being washed enough, utensils are not being cleaned enough or well for that matter and who knows what else. already reported this business for food safety concerns. my wife is a cook, serve safe certified and takes cooking VERY SERIOUS and she instantly knew it was cross contaminated, but again the owner thinks people lie about something like this for no reason. 2+ years of this being a favorite pizza spot to now being the absolute worst we have ever dealt with. also, we have ordered the EXACT SAME PIZZA FOR 2+ YEARS... Cecilian pizza with ONLY BACON & PEPERONI... never once has it ever had CHUNCKY CANNED TOMATOS, CHUCKS OF GARLIC, COOKED SHREDDED LETTUCE HIDDEN UNDER THE CHEESE but owner wants to call us liars about it and says it's always been that way... we know what we eat, clearly this struck a nerve with the owner as it should.... YOU GOT SOMEONE SICK! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!“

“My wife and I went Saturday night around 5:00pm to see some of our serves that left another establishment. I had been to Neverminds years ago but for some reason we has never gone back (it may have been because of Covid or because I thought they closed after the original owner passed away). Well when we arrived we saw one of the servers we went to see plus a few other people working there we knew. the band was setting up in the front bar so we sat at the back bar and we are glad we did. It was quiet so we could talk. Our friend stopped by to say hi plus a few other employees welcomed us. The bartender Lilly was so Awesome she was nice, fun and easy to joke with. All the employees seemed to get along and work well together. I can't forget to mention the food. My wife and I being picky eaters. I played it safe and had the Nevermind Pressed Burger and my wife had the Empandas. I never had a pressed burger it was delicious. My wife couldn't stop praising the Empanadas. I can't wait to go back. What a great place.“

“The Dek Bar is a fantastic spot to grab some drinks and enjoy excellent bar food! It has that perfect dive bar vibe—laid-back, fun, and full of energy. When we visited, the place was definitely happening and packed, but the vibe was so welcoming and lively, we didn’t mind at all.

The bartenders were awesome—super friendly, attentive, and fast despite the crowd. What really impressed us was the food. For a dive bar, the quality was way above expectations! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and hit the spot.
