Vue on 30a is a beautiful restaurant with a great view and service. The staff, including Sophia, are friendly and attentive. However, the food is a mixed bag. Some reviewers enjoyed their meals, including the filet, blackened shrimp and scallops, and salads, while others were disappointed with their dishes. The crab cakes were described as small and flavorless, and the calamari had a cornmeal batter that masked some of the fishy flavor. The venison lollipops had one well-cooked portion and one that was overcooked and chewy. The entrees, such as the $50 filet, were also found to be bland and in need of added seasoning. Despite the mixed reviews, the restaurant's service and view make it a worthwhile destination.
