“The people who work there are great I order here all the time I’ve been ordering here since 2017-18 the atmosphere is good. It’s just the area sucks so that’s why atmosphere is three it’s not like they can dictate what they can do about the area but yeah.“

“We’ve only ordered via Uber Eats but every time we do the food is wonderful. It always arrives hot and very very quick. Their wontons in their soup are delicious and the shrimp egg roll is always packed with shrimp. We’ve tried a lot of their food from General Tso to Egg Foo Young and fried rice and lo mein. Everything is always good and consistent. Closest thing to New York Chinese food we can find!“

“Ordered to-go from Liang’s Bistro pretty much by accident. I was in the area and wanted Asian to go but not Chinese or Ramen or Sushi. Limits the options, yes. Went here hoping it was more than a typical Chinese takeout shop. It turned out to be a bistro, as it is called, with a pretty and warm interior, table-side service and an impressive wine storage along one wall. The restaurant features an open kitchen with a large but not overwhelming menu. I chose yellow curry chicken, Thai basil with tofu and a pad Thai dish as well as shrimp lettuce wraps. Everything was delicious even though it was an hour before I made it home for us to eat dinner. What I like best is they do a little of everything - Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese and even noodles and poke without offering so many of each kind that you know it’s going to be awful. The manager took great care of me, mentioning that this is their second location after a long stint in Tampa and that the business is owned by a Chinese individual who is adamant about serving Asian food, rather than just his country’s dishes. I liked it and look forward to taking my family and friends. Feels comfortable and is affordable. I spent $62 to feed four people and we have leftovers in the fridge.“

“Delicious! I had sweet and sour chicken, and it was such a light, crisp batter that made the dish was so tasty! My husband had pepper steak and all he should do was rave. The egg rolls were crispy and dee-lish, as well as the pork fried rice. A delightful dinner. The staff was present, but not overbearing and the chef came out to check that all was to our taste. So nice!“

“Writing down this review because im a picky eater and I keep forgetting what I like. Honey chicken is sweet in sour chicken (deep fried in a tempura batter) tossed in a sweet sauce. I'm not a fan of the bourbon chicken (got it years ago and never tried it again since); the mongolian chicken is stir fried. Orange, sesame, and general tso chicken uses the same chicken base (dark meat chicken with lots of nooks and crannies for the sauce to hold to); orange sauce is sweet and spicy, sesame is not sweet and doesnt rely on sesame oil (which i like), and general tso is not sweet and mostly a spicy chili sauce (either there was a different dish that was sweet and spicy or this dish got less sweet over time). Lo mein is in the takeout containers while chow mein is in a plastic container and is very wet. Mixed vegetables are served in a dark sauce.“

“They really know how to prepare and cook their dishes! The Boneless Spare Ribs was tender! Other restaurants in the past has been tough like shoe leather. Not New China! Portions were awesome, the General Toas Chicken was the best! The owner doesn't treat you like a number but he's friendly and patient. The staff is great too. Great job and I hope you will be there for a long time.“

“I have already tried this place multiple times, so I feel confident giving my review. I'm surprised by the current rating, this place is five stars. The food is delicious and fresh, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are high quality. The restaurant feels clean, they use good packaging for takeout, and they have about 4 to 5 tables for dining in.
I enjoy picking up my lunch here because the service is great, and the staff is very friendly. Their lunch specials are my favorite, and I go at least once a week to get my lunch. They are also very quick at getting the food ready.
Overall, I love this place. So far, it's my favorite spot for Chinese fried rice and General Tso's chicken in Tampa. I highly recommend it, especially for days when you don't feel like cooking, have a craving for Chinese food, or need a quick lunch for the office.
The photos show the General Tso's chicken, fried rice, spring roll, and steamed dumplings, everything was delicious.“

“Wow! Yum! The best Chinese I’ve had in Brandon. Prices are reasonable. They didn’t charge extra for sauces. The portions were big and food was flavorful and fresh. They have a pull up window for pick up orders.
My only complaint and reason they lost a star is because there were no Fortune cookies. Big sad!“

“China Star never disappoints! Their fried special rice is my absolute favorite; flavorful, perfectly cooked, and packed with fresh ingredients. I also love their broccoli and steak, crispy and tasty egg rolls, and sweet and sour chicken. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always friendly and attentive. This is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving great Chinese food!“

“For takeout Chinese food, this is our absolute go to location. Our order is almost always ready within 20 minutes, it's fresh, piping hot, and delicious. And, the price is reasonable. When you walk in, the cook station is in sight, so, not only can you watch them cook your food, you can see the stations are clean, and we'll maintained. They have some of the best egg rolls and rangoons ever! We usually go with sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and extras. They also always include steamed white rice with your meal.“

“I still think Golden China on dale mabry is the best. However, this is a decent taste when I don’t want to drive far and their hot oil sauce is better. Other than that the shrimp is WAYYY TOO SMALL AND thats why they don’t get 5 stars. They may not be using saffron to make rice yellow but my other spot does. You can taste the difference in the rice. Overall not horrible compared to new china“

“We get takeout from here regularly - it has been consistent and fresh every time. I've not dined in, but our online orders via the storefront are quickly prepared and packaged and ready within 15 min usually. I love their shrimp egg rolls and rangoons. I'd say it's good quality for the prices.“

Food is cooked to order.
Absolutely delicious. Old school authentic flavors. Meals were very hot and fresh. Hot and spicy shredded beef w/noodles. Kung pao chicken w/noodles and excellent fried shrimp. Definitely NY style.
We will be back to visit you for more amazing Chinese food.
Thank you. ♡♡♡“

“Fantastic experience!
Although they do have a few seats, this is definitely a takeout place; don't expect ambiance. The family running it were efficient and very friendly.
The food is terrific, everything perfectly cooked and seasoned! They even packaged the sweet and sour pork separate from the sauce, so it stayed crispy until we were ready to eat. Portions are generous and a good value for the price; three dishes and some egg rolls was enough for a small family with leftovers.
I'll definitely order here again!“

“I used to go to the one on 50th street, they were Amazing. Then they sold to some people who don't know how to cook Chinese food. I was upset. Then I found out they had another store New Far East from Paul the Plumber. They have the Best Food in Town... 10+++++++ Everyone should go.“

“This is by far my favorite Chinese food in the Tampa Brandon area. Lo-mein is perfectly seasoned and cooked, the chicken has a great chicken to breading ratio, THE EGG ROLLS are sooooo good. I’ve had egg rolls where they taste dirty from not washing the cabbage but I can tell they really go all out and do a great job. The krab ragoon has a good ratio of cream cheese. I’ll forever come as long as the prices stay consistent 🙂🙂🙂 it’s always fresh and done quickly!“

“this was one of the only establishments open immediately after hurricane milton. it had been days since my toddler and i had any hot food and i was so thrilled and thankful to find something to eat that didn’t have a three hour line. the staff was incredibly quick and working so hard to make it possible for people to get food before the sun went down and the restaurant no longer had natural light to cook with. i will forever be humbled and grateful for this meal and i think so highly of this restaurant. they’ve definitely made repeat customers out of my family.“

“i am very picky about my chinese food let's start. Lins Express has impressed me. I ordered dumplings (steamed and fried) with sweet and sour chicken combo! the dumplings were very good, the chicken in them tasted fresh and it was more meat than vegetable. the fried dumplings just weren't thrown in a fryer they were pan fried! the egg roll that came with my dinner also tasted fresh and didn't taste like old oil or just cabbage which was nice. the pork fried tasted fresh and no rice was crunchy or old. the sweet and sour chicken was good, the chicken pieces were a good size and not all dough with minimal chicken. the sauce was a little light on flavor but besides that it was GREAT. i also did a pick up and the restaurant was very clean! props to the owners! much enjoyed“

“I can’t speak for those who complained prior to my visit. But when I tell you this is one of the best Chinese Spots in Tampa. That Bourbon chicken was SLAP. I ordered Bourbon Chicken with Lo Mein and it was so flavorful and JUICY. I hate to pick up my food and there isn’t enough sauce or the lo mein soaked up the juice. Not the case here. Whoever took my order over the phone was respectful, repeated my order and made an accommodation that I requested. Again, this food was slap. Don’t go to no Chinese take out and expect 5 Star Dinning Experience. THIS PLACE GAVE WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO… I said what I said. ENJOY :)“

“Food is absolutely delicious… if you want a FLAVOR BOMB in your mouth come here , and SUPER fresh BEST crab rangoons I’ve ever had the filling was a burst of flavor and the wrap wasnt too thin or too thick it was literally perfect even the sauce to dip it in was amazing…you can tell the crab rangoons were made from scratch and the recipe has been perfected. The rice is very flavorful the sweetness from the peas and the savoriness from the onion is the perfect combination, noodles are soft and uniquely made in the best way possible. the most savory fried wings I’ve ever had, very crispy and juicy. And the fortune cookie was also very yellow not pale you can tell it’s good quality and I like how it actually does have a fortune in it not just a quote like in other places and in the back a word in Chinese so you can learn. They definitely put love into their food THANK YOU, I will definitely be coming back please keep doing what you’re doing it’s impeccable“

“I literally called the store 53 times back to back. The only person who could handle an issue such as mine, is a manager. I have never heard of a business running without a manager, BUT there wouldn't be a manager in at all that day?!? But because Brianna is a rockstar, this review took a hard turn. Great job taking the wheel when apparently the "managers" are busy!Hope they see this review and you get a Sunday off too!“

“My first time there and the food and service were awesome! Everyone said hello with a smile and our waiter was very efficient and quick. Until I ate here there was only one oriental type restaurant I would eat at but this has changed my mind. We had the Black Dragon Roll, Hurricane Roll, Gyoza and the Crab Rangoon. It was Heaven! Love this restaurant and I will be back again!“

“This was my first time to Long Express. I know most people get Chinese “to go” but I had a little extra time so I elected to eat it there. The food was very good however the atmosphere was pretty nasty - the walls, ceilings, etc. were filthy, not to mention two sketchy characters loitering at 2 tables; 1 was all sprawled out like he intended to stay all day and the other had his head down like he was taking a nap. Gave me a very uneasy feeling….“
