People are so quick to complain so Kim & I decided to tell them how happy we were with start to finish. Gators Dockside has always been my favorite restaurant, and it’s still my favorite restaurant. “I have been going to this restaurant for a long time. I know the individuals that run the place. I also know the waitresses. The waitresses are like no others. Each waitress has her own way of dealing with people on a day-to-day basis. That base is depends on the mood and the attitude of the individual that’s approaching this with waitress. The waitresses will give back what they accept. What I mean is you harass them? They’re gonna harass you. They are loving, caring and Upstanding individuals that could work in any restaurant and draw a crowd. These waitresses and the hostess Whoever that may be are at their upmost, professional appearance, professional worth at ethics, and by far the most loving people I’ve ever associated myself with in a restaurant. As far as that goes that I have ever associated myself with in any atmosphere or location. So when I tell you that Jim’s Café. Is of the upmost respected, and the food is at its most excellent quality and quantity. There is no other restaurant in the neighborhood in my opinion that could even come close to the atmosphere, the loving care that one gets when they enter the door, the respected welcoming greeting when they get when they walk through that door and while they are there. It is my opinion that this restaurant is one of the best in Springhill Florida. When I lost my wife 10 months ago, I did not even know about this place. A gentleman from church introduced me to jam’s Café and I’ve been going there. at least once a week since I was introduced to it. I eat out more now that my wife has passed and I have no one to cook for or with. As being a one time chef I can pretty well take care of myself. But it’s no fun or exciting when you’re cooking for yourself. Therefore, I choose to associate with members of the Jim‘s Café. There is no other restaurant like it in my opinion. The food is great. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is like no other and the love and caring that you get from the people within is unexplainable. The love you get when you walk in the door is like you’re walking in and hugging the Lord.. You find no better Love from any finer people than those at Jim’s Café. The waitresses there and the hostess are one to be commended and honored of their service to the people in that area for the service they provide to these people. When talking to the waitresses or the hostess, you Feel like you’re at home talking to a sibling or your parents or your wife or your husband. It’s a one on one conversation. I want to sign off now, but there will be more reviews coming in the future from this individual because I find no fine a restaurant in the area that can match. Or hold up against jam’s café. “We, my husband, my husband's cousins, and I, used to eat here all the time....at least once a week. That was, until this "Covid"- thing cut into their hours and business. Now that Covid is over, their hours are still very limited. They close at 2. We, seniors, like to go out for dinner, in the evening. That's when we went. Now, closing at 2, haven't been back in months, if not more. Today is Sunday. Think they would be open all day, but, no. Still closing at 2. Very sad. “We originally ordered through Uber. I was so excited to finally get Chinese! We unfortunately were brought the wrong order. Uber handled it but I was really sad so my bf said to call the restaurant. So I did and they were very apologetic. They asked if I could come pick up the correct order so I did. And they let me keep the original order. “Stayed at Timber Pines and decided to try this as a take away option. The lady taking the orders was efficient albeit a little brusque.
Ordered sweet and sour pork and Mongolian beef, neither of which were like the photos. The pork came as battered balls like the chicken photo, which was a shame as we didnt want a battered dish. The Mongolian beef looked more like beef, ginger and spring onion, certainly not in a delightful sweet sticky sauce as normal.
Whilst the portion size was good the food wasnt good enough for a return visit.
So sorry, just notk good enough for a better review.“

“The food here is absolutely amazing. The food tastes fresh, it is made with care, and the chicken wings are to die for. The hot and sour soup has to be my favorite dish alongside the happy family. Which consists of numerous veggies and meats such as roast pork, beef and chicken to create a very savory and tasty dish. I really recommend eating here!“

I called to say my pizza was missing I believe taylor is who answered the phone. he told me it should be on the way I waited another 10 min and called back he answered again I said my pizza is still missing immediately concerned for his driver and what happened he took my number got his general manager located their driver to make sure all was ok and then. called me back within 5 min said there was some confusion and in the end someone got double orders of pizza today (lucky them😁) they re made my order refunded my money and delivered as fast as possible. the driver who delivered was super nice and apologized. I have been in customer service for years and this is how it is supposed to be handled. I don't leave reviews ever but felt compelled tonight to tell you BRAVO!!!“

“We ordered bao buns and dumplings with door dash. I was originally concerned that there were no dipping sauces but after my first bite I realized they did not need them. The flavor was all there. The buns themselves were fluffy and sweet. The different fillings were delightful and so very well seasoned. We tried the pork, chicken, spicy, and coconut custard. I’m seeing all of these other reviews and can’t believe we’re talking about the same place. Maybe we caught them on a good day. We’ll find out when we order again tomorrow!“

“The food is always outstanding here and ever since they remodeled the restaurant, it is much brighter and a positive vibe to it!! And as always the servers here are fantastic especially Tammee!! She is a fantastic person and great to talk to. We had a fabulous eating experience here and she was very attentive in clearing our dishes plus refilling our drinks.

“We stopped in for our first hot meal after losing everything to hurricane Helene. I don't remember her name but we had the sweetest pregnant waitress. She was at the point in pregnancy when she could be grouchy and no one could blame her for it but instead she was a ray of sunshine in a dark time for us. She was genuine and very good at her job. I wish I could remember her name bc she deserves all the praise! The food was good and the atmosphere was good as well. 5 stars!

The menu was large, the prices are more than fair, and the portions are humongous. Honestly, two could feed off one of their dinner platters. So, another good thing.

The food was hot and fresh, and they make all rolls and sushi right there on the spot upon order.
