The food was good, the service was on point and the ambience was perfect for our family of 5! The appetizers came out in a timely manner, corn nuggets and gator tail. The nuggets were lacking flavor but the gate tail was fried perfectly. Skip the nuggets! The entrees took a long time after we ordered them and when they arrived they were barely warm. We waited 1 hrs 15 minutes seated at 8:30 pm. Oysters Doundanville were excellent. Basic housesalad was basic. The shrimp and grits were disappointing. Shrimp was way over cooked. I missed that it would be covered in BBQ sauce. It just didn't work. Bbq should be served on the side. Son had ribs and shrimp that were fine. Nothing exceptional. Busy because it was less expensive. Waitress was fabulous- Anastasia. She made up for the food.

Not my first rodeo, but this place has always been great. Great drinks and great food, so I'm sure you won't be disappointed! We had catch of the day and scallop scampi , those with the drinks makes for another satisfied visit. May come back again before we go home ! Highly recommended
