“This was quite literally one of the best meals I have ever had. The stracciatella with the truffle honey (don’t skip the truffle honey or you have already played yourself) was definitely a highlight. The weekend special (Bianco gnocchi with brown butter sauce) was absolutely divine, I came close to climax with each bite. Obviously the patatte fritte were amazing but I’m sure you know that already. We didn’t make a reservation but got there at 6 and were sat right away, it was outside which seemed like a nicer atmosphere than being inside. Do yourself a favor and get there early and with an appetite, you will absolutely not regret it.“

The atmosphere was very inviting, busy yet flowing with a full dining room. Our waiter Andreu was very welcoming asking us if we were there for a special occasion. With our anniversary he provided us each with a glass of champagne! He explained the dinner specials and even brought us a taste of one of the appetizers called Fiocchi Rapers – filled pasta with cheese and pear, with crispy prosciutto and creamy truffle sauce. The atmosphere was like being in my Nana's home. Sure, it's tight on space, but so was Nana's kitchen. And it was packed on a Monday night, a generally slow night for restaurants. Our server, Tomas was a pleasure to work with. Attentive, but not bothersome. He offered suggestions without pressure that we felt at another Italian restaurant nearby. We shared an excellent Caesar salad with anchovies to start. So good! Next, I ordered the Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese, which was heavenly. My husband had Pappardelle Al Ragú Di Agnello, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't get to taste it because I wouldn't share mine. Fair is fair, I suppose. Tomas paired our meal with a wonderful Primitivo Puglia that was perfect. Then he suggested dessert, and although I was stuffed, we shared a cannoli. It was delicious also, but I really didn't need it. The surprise limoncello, on the house, was a perfect ending to a perfect meal! An aside? Watching the pasta being made in the front window was a bonus. I learned some things I'll use at home!“

“This place is a classic spot that is legendary and this is the newest location. Service was great. Our server, Marco, was very pleasant and efficient. However, the kitchen still has a few kinks to work out in terms of flavor compared to the original location and the others and the kitchen is a bit on the slow side. “I am Italian and find very difficult to find authentic and traditional food in Miami. However, since Igor opened his restaurant a few years ago, I visit it at least once or twice a week. He uses the best imported Italian ingredients for his recipes which are all 100% real and authentic. The presentation of the dishes is elegant end the portions are abundant. Since the chef is from Venice, he has a special talent for seafood; my favorite is his seafood risotto but he offers many other amazing options.“
