I observed cashier when my cousin and I first arrived being rude to customers at drive thru and it continued with same behavior at counter because a customer took a while deciding what she wanted to eat. Another lady from the back came and took our order. It took a long time to get our food so my cousin went to check on it and 1st cashier was just not pleasant. On this trip, I arrived 4 minutes before close. I was greeted with enthusiasm when I spoke to the attendant at the drive thru. My food was hot, fresh, and my order was correct. For fast food, Captain D's is very good. The attendant was polite and that makes a difference with customer service, especially when you know an establishment is about to close.
