First time trying Hasu today, and I gotta say as someone who grew up in an Asian-majority area, the food was fantastic. The chef clearly knew how to properly prepare sushi and nigiri. The sushi rice was room-temperature and perfect, and the slices of fish were generous, fresh, and properly sliced. Staff were very polite and attentive. Got the shrimp tempura bento for lunch. Everything was cooked perfectly and was crispy. Salad tasted very fresh! You get a lot of food for around $12.

We moved to Tallahassee a couple of years ago and were not very impressed with sushi we had tried at a couple of other places. Last night, we tried Hasu Sushi & Grill for the first time, and we were thrilled to find a great sushi restaurant right in our neighborhood! The food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and the server was friendly. We'll be back!
