“This is by far, the BEST restaurant in the Davie/Plantation area. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over a year and all the food is so full of fresh flavors, generous portions and extremely friendly and attentive staff and management. The manager Tan always goes out of his way to accommodate every guest and makes everyone feel like a part of the family. The servers are attentive to detail, very warm and provide quality service! Best food on the menu: pineapple fried rice, red snapper, pad woo sen and of course the traditional pad Thai. The sushi is fresh, vibrant with a lot of variety and choices. The curry will have you coming back for more! You won’t regret a visit from this restaurant!“

“Planta Queen on Las Olas is absolutely amazing. We ordered takeout (because it was Easter Sunday, and restaurants are packed!). We ordered seven different dishes, and we were blown away by each and every one. This fully vegan restaurant offers mainly Asian food that is fresh, beyond flavorful and totally different from your local Asian restaurant. They offer whole food items, no processed food, very fresh and unlike anything you've ever tasted before. Yes, they are expensive. And worth every penny. My taste buds had a real blast!! SO GOOD!!! It is a small chain with about 20 locations - many of them in Florida, but we're so glad there's a location near us!!! Try something truly different and so delicious for a change!!“

Chang’s.I like the Singapore Street Noodles (I get it spicy), and it's one of my favorite dishes. I also like the lettuce wraps; although I've not been to a PF Changs in a few years, the lettuce used In the Chicken Lettuce wraps seems to have changed from a crunchy refreshing cup to more of a softer Boston bib(?) type of lettuce, I wasn't a fan of the change (but will order them again) -I do wish the lettuce wraps and the gyoza we ordered would've been HOT - both dishes were lukewarm at best. However, our server was great and had the Gyoza’s remade (we were hungry and didn't send back the lettuce wrap).“

“Definitely an awesome place for Thai food. It wasn't just the food, the waitress and chef were fantastic. Their special fried rice is an item you need to try, it has chicken,beef, pork and shrimp. Nicest part, all the meats were cooked separately and garnished the rice in sections so if you didn't want one of the meats, you didn't have to take it. We were there with our granddaughter and husband and we each got something different and we all loved what we got. The portions were generous and very tasty. Too bad I didn't have my phone, thus no pictures. The chef came out to see if our meal was satisfactory and invited us back. Absolutely, we are going back before we return North. Don't wait, you need to judge for yourself.“

“I had another great meal here. The assortment of kimchi starters was spicy and delicious. The pork dumplings were huge and so filling I almost couldn’t eat my entree. They were delicious. The Korean bbq short ribs came out in a sizzling cast iron pan on a wooden boat shaped pan. They were tender, flavorful and delicious. Excellent service from the waiter and waitress. “This place was a real surprise. I made plans to meet a friend for dinner, and we were looking for a place near The Parker before the show. Temple Street Eatery showed up in a quick search. Let's start with the basics. You get in line, order at a cash register, pay for your order before you get your food, and it's delivered to your table. This isn't the place for you if you want table service (and the corresponding tipping experience). However, if you love great food, fair prices, and a funky low-key atmosphere, check it out. Parking at most places is usually challenging, but there was ample parking here, even during dinner hour. Delightful for sure. We started with a couple of different dumplings; you can get small plates with just two, which is fantastic if you like to try different things. We ordered the veggie dumplings which were lacking flavor. However, the shrimp dumplings were amaze-maze! I ordered the Goszilla Ramen with rice noodles; you can have different types of noodles; I like gluten-free. OMG, this was mind-blowing. Really, really great. My friend had the Spicy Miso Ramen, and wow, she actually didn't speak for like 3 minutes. If you knew who I was talking about, you wouldn't believe she could be quiet that long. Now, chips on the table here, it's about a half hour ride from my place. I am lazy and hate driving in traffic (duh, you live in where?) so if I tell you that I would make a special trip just to eat here again, T R U S T M E - it's worth it. There are no tablecloths, no entertainment, no fancy shmancy stuff, just eat-as-fast-as-you-can, great food. Word to the restaurant - Your prices are fair, and I appreciate great food at fair prices. Please don't raise them because I'm really cheap and even I would come back, drive a half hour to eat with my blabber mouth friends here - just cause the food is dope. Cool?“

I have been to Bangkok Bistro many times and ordered different dishes, I always like their food.This place has a good atmosphere to socialize, the noise is tolerable. Other than Thai food, they also serve sushi and ramen. I enjoyed spider Tom yum with crispy soft shell crab. I also like their whole snapper.Tonight I ordered Tom yum soup with shrimp and eggplant shrimp. Both dishes have perfectly cooked shrimp. “Really like the concept the waitress was very friendly miso sup was nice not salty just great and fresh I tried 3 of the sushi 2 was super fresh one no!!! i see it in the texture and the avocado change color, still good but no like the other 2. so thats mean managers or people in charge have to be on top of this and remove and discart from this band when food have more time in there, especially for the temperature of the food thats all my recomendation the rest was great...“

Tender, juicy meats, fresh veggies, and the side dishes to match. I've tried a great portion of the menu, and I have yet to find something I didn't like. Star 3 is for the price. Where are you going to get such delicious food at such a decent price? I'll tell you where. ROK! Star 4 is for the staff. They are a friendly bunch that treat their customers well, going out of their way to explain dishes to novices of Korean cuisine or recommending new things to try for those more versed in it. Star 5 is for...KARAOKE! That's right! Not only do you have a great dining experience, but you have the option of turning date night into a party. “Went here because the other place we were going to go was too busy. They have tables for both hibachi and regular menu items. We sat at the hibachi and really enjoyed the chef that cooked for us. She was entertaining, personable, and did a really nice job preparing our food. We had filet and shrimp, chicken and shrimp, and shrimp dinners. All of them tasted really good and the chef did not drown the food with soy sauce as some other hibachi places do. It was nice to go into a restaurant where you could actually hear yourself talk because music wasn't so loud like other places in Fort Lauderdale. One note of caution is they charged us a gratuity for five people, not sure if that is customary and not a big deal as I would have tipped anyhow but wasn't told there was a gratuity on the bill.“

“We'd been here many years ago when one of our then favorite places in the center was closed for vacation. I have to say that this visit was better. And frankly, my husband's meal was a much better choice than mine, this time. There is plenty of parking out front in the lot. It gets kind of busy because of the Publix grocery store nearby as well as a number of other restaurants on this corner. It's cool and the lights seem blue and a bit dark when you first enter. We were seated in a booth. I had to use my flashlight to read the menu, but that's not a big problem. I'm used to doing that. The menu is quite large. They don't tell you about their specials. You have to turn to the back page. They have a number of lunch specials from which to choose. They are reasonably priced. They come with your choice of soup or salad. I chose the lunch special with beef teriyaki and shrimp tempura. I started with their salad. It was a bowl of iceberg lettuce and carrot shreds and a grape tomato. They are very generous with the ginger dressing. And we both liked it. The lunches come in a bento box. Mine had about eight slices of beef topped with teriyaki sauce along with one piece of broccoli. In another compartment were two pieces of tempura battered shrimp along with one large round slice of a tempuraed sweet potato. Another compartment had a scoop of white rice; another some pickled bean sprouts; and the last a wedge of a fresh orange. The beef was good, the shrimp just so so, the sweet potato good. And I didn't care for the cold bean sprouts. My husband also had the salad to start. His bento box had a four-piece California roll; three pieces of sushi; six pieces of sashimi; and a mound of seafood sunimono salad with octopus et al. It also had those cold bean sprouts and the same orange wedge. It was very good and very fresh. And an excellently priced lunch. I'd go back again if in the area, but I'd choose a different option. I'm sure that my husband would enjoy the same lunch he had again....“
