Breakfast Restaurants near Tamarac

“I stopped by this local diner for a quick breakfast before heading out on a trip, and it turned out to be the perfect way to start the day. The place had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and that classic diner feel that makes you want to stay a little longer. Even though I was just passing through, I felt right at home from the moment I walked in.

I ordered the eggs Benedict, a stack of pancakes, and a cup of coffee. The eggs Benedict was excellent, with perfectly poached eggs, a toasted English muffin, and a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce that tied everything together. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and just sweet enough to complement the savory flavors of the Benedict without feeling too heavy. A hot cup of coffee rounded out the meal perfectly, making everything pair together surprisingly well and giving me the boost I needed before getting back on the road.

The staff was warm, attentive, and had my food out quickly without sacrificing quality, which I really appreciated since I was traveling. Overall, it was a wonderful breakfast with delicious food, great coffee, and excellent service. I'd definitely make another stop here the next time I'm passing through the area.“

“All I can say is… WOW. I’ve eaten here more than a handful of times, and their food is 10/10 every time. From the fresh food on the bar, to the grill, to the empanadas; everything tastes so FRESH! Not to mention the service and people here are so kind, lovely, and personable. They have become such a staple in Broward and downtown Fort Lauderdale. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who loves good fresh food, friendly and welcoming staff, and supporting a local family business. Much love for the La Corte family ❤“

“Great fresh food. Consistently excellent. A little local treasure.“

“Amazing!! Such a great place and love the staff 🤙“

“Food great here and I’m very picky because I can throw down“

“Do U want more targeted followers for your business?“

“I had a wonderful experience at First Watch today. The food was absolutely delicious, and you could really taste how fresh everything was. From start to finish, the service was amazing.

A special thank you to Arlin and Ivanna for making the experience even better. They were both so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It’s rare to find service that genuinely makes you feel appreciated as a customer. I will definitely be coming back!“

“After being annoyed at the ridiculously expensive Starbucks near my hotel I walked 25 minutes here most days to grab a quick coffee and snack. The coffee is nice and smooth and the ham and cheese croissant was surprisingly very good. After only being there a few times the person working recognized me which was nice, lol. Even though it wasn’t explicitly on the menu they were able to give me cold foam for my cold brew. I’m glad I found this tiny little cafe :)“

“This restaurant is a staple and the food is good and consistent A particular server, Tammi, always makes it worth the trip.
Tammi is the sunshine every business needs.
She is quick, efficient, and always has a smile! My absolute favorite part of this establishment.“

“Very good food and since I’m from NJ, I finally found a dinner that serves Jersey size portions. Awesome job, will definitely be back. Thanks guys 👍“

“Was on my way out for Tequila and Tacos, got stood up and decided Breakfast is always a great choice!

I toggled with the menu as there were great options, I considered the Salmon Sweet Potato Bowl, their version Avocado toast , and the Shakshuka!

Where did I land?

Steak & Eggs cause I’m that girlie!

Here’s everything I got and how I’d rate it!

Steak - Cooked Medium (wasn’t as HOT as I would have preferred although it was cooked to perfection! My first time having hollandaise sauce and the way that they pair it with their chimichurri on that steak is phenomenal. 4/5

Cheddar Grits - Hot and Good! 5/5

Cheddar Biscuit - Great but hard and cold
(it’s 2:30 in the afternoon and they close at 3) I get it! If I had it devoured it, I would’ve definitely brought it home, wrapped it in a wet towel and put it in the microwave for five seconds. 4/5

Cold Pressed Juice (The Orange One) ehh not my flavor but super fresh! I’d love to try the other two flavors! 3/5

Atmosphere is absolutely beautiful I may be biased because Green is my favorite color and they have a most beautiful green backsplash with a lot of plants old pictures and I just love how the kitchen is right upfront with a small bar that you can sit and watch the amazing chefs and sous chefs prep they’re catering and to go orders. 10/10

All in all, I will definitely be back!

Can’t believe I forgot to recognize my amazing server.

Her name was Dash and true to her name!

Greeted me immediately, noticed as I placed my menu down to collect my order, we chatted quickly about my potential options but she was spot on when we both agreed Steak and Eggs is the way to go!

Even at there tail end of there shift I had to ask what time the place closed because I realized I was in a diner.

The entire staff seems happy, complaint and eager to share the success of the happiness of their guests!

Thank you to the team for a great first meal of my day!“

“My go-to local neighborhood breakfast/early lunch place. Family owned and operated. Great coffee and baked goods. Love the omelets. Had open faced roast beef sandwich with gravy. Nothing fancy, just great home cooked meals. They close at 2pm during the week. So plan accordingly.“

“The staff at addiction were extremely nice and welcoming! It’s a small intimate restaurant. Bonus points for being Haitian owned! In addition, I accidentally left my card and Bernard was pleasant enough to keep it safe for me until I retrieved it! I would be back for sure!“

“I’ve been to several IHOPs in Florida and by far this is the best one in South Florida staff food, efficient good attitude. If I’m in the south Florida area and I’m hungry for quality breakfast. This is the best place to visit.
My last visit, Maya was extremely wonderful. Such a good attitude so thankful.“

“I’m from out of town and come here every time I’m in town. Love this place!!“

“Had to take a minute to review our breakfast experience this am. My wife and I took a friend to the airport and decided to stop for a bite and coffee instead of going home and fixing it ourselves. I have to say hats off to our waitress, Nisa, and the cook. She was a wonderful waitress and stayed busy cleaning the coffee area and food counter as well as keeping her eye on the customers. The food was prepared exactly as ordered (nothing under or overcooked). Definitely recommend this IHOP for breakfast!!“

“My family and I came across this bakery while we were in the area for an appointment, and it turned out to be a great find. The customer service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. I would definitely recommend this place to others!“

“What a gem. In town for a visit and wanted a diner style breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to make it out to the local diner and thought we had to settle for this bagel spot. It gives diner vibes and the food is really good. The service was super fast and they got everything right. Don't let the name fool you, they do more than just bagels well.“

“fantastic place for delicious gourmet food!!!! love eating here!!!“

“I normally don’t do reviews, but I give credit when it’s due!! My wife and I are here on vacation decided to stop in before we went to “butterfly world”. I ordered the steak fried steak, grits and the biscuits & gravy! Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in YEARS!!! The music chill vibe and the service amplified it better!!!! Thank you 🙏🏽“

“We really enjoy our visits when we a breakfast craving. They do a good job of meeting that need. The store is clean and the staff are professional. I would recommend. As far as the food goes they, do a good job, but for the most part we go for the general breakfast food, not something exotic, if that is what you are looking for I think you will be satisfied with your visit“

“I always enjoy coming to Crema. I usually goto the location on Las Olas. Today, somewhere different. Food is always good. Look at that Greek salad. Fresh!! Tasty! Iced tea is fresh and no sugar needed. But, I’ll tell
You what was not fresh. That nasty young lady that works there, who got an entire attitude with me because she didn’t understand my English. The young man that was working came in to save the day. Otherwise, I was on my way out the door. Nasty nasty girl. Take an English class. Don’t ruin my lunch hour.“

“Great first experience, I called in my order for pickup and to my surprise they called me back in less than 10 minutes to let me know the order was ready. The food was really good I just added a little extra salt and pepper to my liking, and it was perfect. I will definitely be coming back here again.

UPDATE: Ordered again on July 12th, through Door Dash and whoever was in the kitchen PLAYED big time. The eggs look like a ribbon and it’s burnt. The sausage they gave me this time was different from the first time and it taste funny, I didn’t like it. I prefer the other sausage. The grits were good and the fruit punch was good too.“

“Is very. convenient location. to eat a healthy nice salad“

“Haven’t been to ihop in a while but I stopped by after work this morning and I wasn’t disappointed! Carline was our server and she was very energetic and pleasant. Also I appreciated the fact that she pointed out the value menu items. Got a big meal for a great price. Will be returning.“

“We had a great experience at IHOP thanks to Ashley! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She checked on us often without being intrusive, had such a positive attitude. Excellent customer service like hers makes all the difference. Thank you, Ashley, for making our visit so enjoyable.“

“Great prices, service and food! Good old fashioned bagel place!😀“

“great staff and delicious food.“

“I will not EVER go back to this waffle house. The music is so loud you can't think or hear the rude unprofessional chic taking orders. I had to ask her what she said 3xs until i just walked out. Get it together.“

“FOOD WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!“

“great food, great customer service, 10/10 must try again!“

“Joel was our waitress, he did a fantastic job. He was super friendly and our food was delicious. I highly recommend the iced coffee, it wasn’t too sweet which I loved. This is probably one of the best experiences I have had at ihop, I’m not even exaggerating! I have a really soft voice and most of the time I don’t get what I order but Joel was on top of it, even repeating back our orders which I have never seen a ihop worker do before:)“

“the breakfast in a box and the Corned Beef sandwich are great.“

“10/10 experience! Hilda provided top-notch service from start to finish—she was super attentive and friendly. Plus, the vanilla milkshake she brought out was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you so much, Hilda!“
