“In my humble opinion, Char-Hut is one of the best steakburger and chicken breast fast food restaurants in America and possibly the world. The quality of the meat and poultry is the finest and the choices offered for toppings is exceptional! The steak burger is thick; there's no skimping on weight and, one of my favorites, is a serving of plantains as a side instead of fries. The entire team greets you as you enter and they have a way of making you feel like family. There's a reason they have been here for 49 years. Let's hope they can continue for at least 51 more years. They've been part of my family's life for 40 years. When we're in the area, it's one of the restaurants we make sure to stop at. If you haven't tried Char-Hut, put it on your list of places to eat. You definitely won't be disappointed.“

“Excellent!! I went Just Spoons for brunch. First I would suggest make reservations. This restaurant gets crowded fast. I had the grilled shrimp and fried catfish w/ eggs and grits. Enough for 2 people and it delicious. My daughter had the curry shrimp and grits awesome and flavorful. My severer was Sean was attentive answered questions about the dishes and the drink menu is like no other I had the brunch punch ( contains alcohol)and my daughter the sunset ( non alcohol) both excellent. This my first time at this restaurant and it now on my restaurant rotation.“

“Try something different for lunch today in Downtown Fort Lauderdale area, try Blue Tree Cafe Vegan Soul Food by Nika King. This little cafe serves up all the soul, as Nika’s mom, Chef Sharon cooks up all of your soul food favorites, for a very reasonable price, plus special for this month, they have a home made burger for 954 Burger Month. The Black Bean Soul Burger is made with black beans, brown rice, toasted walnuts and a variety of spices and herbs. It’s served on a vegan brioche bun smered with a chipotle compound butter and house dressing, served here with hand cut sweet potato fries. The menu also has a lot of great options too, the crab balls are my favorite! Hours are limited as they are only open Tuesday - Thursday, 11-6 and are cashless business. They are located at 612 NW 9th Ave Ste A in Ft.Lauderdale, close to downtown, but they have do have a private free parking lot. Highly suggest checking them out this week, and trying the burger before the end of the month.“

He was attentive, joyful, welcoming and showed so much excitement for our arrival just as if we were family coming to visit. Our waitress Mimi treated us just the same. Her service made us feel so comfy and welcome and she was also very attentive. When she introduced herself she even asked us for our names. Such a nice personal touch! The sushi rolls we ordered were absolutely delicious and fresh and the drinks were fantastic. The restaurant ambiance was bright, clean and spacious. And to top it off as we were walking toward the door to leave standing there was Mimi and Tan sending us off with their smiles and hugs. Tan, you are such a bright, joyful light! This was our first time here and will definitely not be the last.“

“The best Sugar Cane juice you can find anywhere!!! Ive been to many farmers markets and restaurants but NO ONE beats their freshly pressed sugar cane juice. I buy a half gallon each time I go with lime added. I finish it in 1-2 days tops.

The jerk oyster burger is my favorite on the menu. AGAIN…nobody else does it better!!! Literally no where. The flavors are amazing. The owners are amazing. It’s like coming home every time I go.

Exceeded all expectations that I had going in. I drove a hour to get here and it was well worth the drive. I will do it again. Everything was made to order and top notch! “This was my first visit to Keke’s and I was pleasantly impressed. Our server, Estelle, immediately stood out — kind, helpful, and efficient. She helped me adjust a combo to get exactly what I wanted, and it worked perfectly. She also brought the check right after checking in, which I appreciated since I needed a quick in-and-out meal.

The food came out in under 10 minutes and didn’t feel like a wait at all. Everything was very good — especially the omelette and home fries. Even the coffee was great.

I had the pleasure of dining at Pasta And... while working as the DJ for a wedding being held in their event space. The room was beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere for the celebration. While I was there to work, the staff went out of their way to make me feel like a VIP guest. The star of the evening was Chef Luigi, who demonstrated his culinary prowess throughout my time at the restaurant. Though I did not know he was the chef at first, he made sure I was well taken care of, offering me a bottle of Pellegrino and various food tastings. When I finally told him to just bring me whatever he recommended, he delivered an off-menu dish of tender, flavorful lamb chops in a delectable sauce, accompanied by fresh, grilled vegetables. The food was truly exceptional - it melted in my mouth and left me craving more. I was amazed that this restaurant, which I had never heard of before, could produce such a high-caliber meal.
