I have had nothing but exceptional service whenever I'm there, and believe me I have been there since they opened. Even family visiting from Trinidad the first place we visit is there. It’s quieter and brighter at lunch, so a completely different vibe. Highly recommend!! Hubby loves short rib panini and I crave spicy vodka chicken or ya sista’s cutlet.“

“Excellent!! I went Just Spoons for brunch. First I would suggest make reservations. This restaurant gets crowded fast. I had the grilled shrimp and fried catfish w/ eggs and grits. Enough for 2 people and it delicious. My daughter had the curry shrimp and grits awesome and flavorful. My severer was Sean was attentive answered questions about the dishes and the drink menu is like no other I had the brunch punch ( contains alcohol)and my daughter the sunset ( non alcohol) both excellent. This my first time at this restaurant and it now on my restaurant rotation.“

“The moment we walked in we were greeted with the most wonderful greeting by Tan. He was attentive, joyful, welcoming and showed so much excitement for our arrival just as if we were family coming to visit. Our waitress Mimi treated us just the same. Her service made us feel so comfy and welcome and she was also very attentive. When she introduced herself she even asked us for our names. Such a nice personal touch! “Went today to try this pizza. Ordered the Star Pizza recommended by waitress. Clever star shaped pie with delicious dough and tomato sauce. Could not find the spicy salami or the mozzarella. The ricotta cheese was bland and caused the dough to be soggy. Will not order this again, but do plan to return to try regular pies. Please, please ask wait staff to not clear table while guest is still eating. Place was not busy, no line waiting thus no need to rush .“

Tuna, cabbage, cucumber, and carrots with wasabi cream dressing was one of my favorite combinations. The portion size is very satisfying. For the price, you cannot get a fresher, tastier poke bowl than this. In terms of the environment, this is a small store, but I really love the vibe and décor. “Really fun place. Located in the corner of a road in this nice space decorated very tastefully, feels like you entered a whole sperate world. The restaurant is interesting with basically only outdoor seating. We sat down. The Fifa game was playing, and it was nice, but way way way too loud. I couldn't hear my wife or myself thinking. The server took quite a while to come. I ordered appetizers right away (empanadas) and drinks. The drinks took about 5-10 minutes. After about 20-30 minutes they told us one of the empanadas was out and asked if we wanted a substitute. We said no. Then ordered the main. Which took about another 20-30 minutes. The appetizer eventually came , but with the main course (after almost an hour from when we ordered it, making it useless). They also did not provide any kind of free chips or the like while we waited for the hour. Either way, we got the order. I got the Birria Enchiladas, it was tasty, loaded with meat, and had a side of rice and beans. The birria meat was a little dry tho. Also it lacked any kind of cream on the top, and they were stingy with the toppings like the cheese. Still good. My wife got the birria burrito, also loaded with meat, but could've used more cheese and sauce or something. But it was tasty. It took forever to get out to get out server to come back for us to pay. Overall the service could be better. The food is great but needs improvement. Loved the vibe, but they played the TV way too loud. I would return tho as it's a good place overall.“

“I stopped by this local diner for a quick breakfast before heading out on a trip, and it turned out to be the perfect way to start the day. The place had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and that classic diner feel that makes you want to stay a little longer. Even though I was just passing through, I felt right at home from the moment I walked in.

I ordered the eggs Benedict, a stack of pancakes, and a cup of coffee. The eggs Benedict was excellent, with perfectly poached eggs, a toasted English muffin, and a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce that tied everything together. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and just sweet enough to complement the savory flavors of the Benedict without feeling too heavy. A hot cup of coffee rounded out the meal perfectly, making everything pair together surprisingly well and giving me the boost I needed before getting back on the road.

The staff was warm, attentive, and had my food out quickly without sacrificing quality, which I really appreciated since I was traveling. Overall, it was a wonderful breakfast with delicious food, great coffee, and excellent service. I'd definitely make another stop here the next time I'm passing through the area.“

“Try something different for lunch today in Downtown Fort Lauderdale area, try Blue Tree Cafe Vegan Soul Food by Nika King. This little cafe serves up all the soul, as Nika’s mom, Chef Sharon cooks up all of your soul food favorites, for a very reasonable price, plus special for this month, they have a home made burger for 954 Burger Month. The Black Bean Soul Burger is made with black beans, brown rice, toasted walnuts and a variety of spices and herbs. It’s served on a vegan brioche bun smered with a chipotle compound butter and house dressing, served here with hand cut sweet potato fries. The menu also has a lot of great options too, the crab balls are my favorite! Hours are limited as they are only open Tuesday - Thursday, 11-6 and are cashless business. They are located at 612 NW 9th Ave Ste A in Ft.Lauderdale, close to downtown, but they have do have a private free parking lot. Highly suggest checking them out this week, and trying the burger before the end of the month.“

Fresh is always key but the food is hand selected. Pistachios from certain regions. Pork chops of a specific type. Prosciutto aged 24 months. Top notch! As a first-time visitor, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the attentive service. I had the pleasure of dining at Pasta And... while working as the DJ for a wedding being held in their event space. The room was beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere for the celebration. While I was there to work, the staff went out of their way to make me feel like a VIP guest. The star of the evening was Chef Luigi, who demonstrated his culinary prowess throughout my time at the restaurant. Though I did not know he was the chef at first, he made sure I was well taken care of, offering me a bottle of Pellegrino and various food tastings. When I finally told him to just bring me whatever he recommended, he delivered an off-menu dish of tender, flavorful lamb chops in a delectable sauce, accompanied by fresh, grilled vegetables. The food was truly exceptional - it melted in my mouth and left me craving more. I was amazed that this restaurant, which I had never heard of before, could produce such a high-caliber meal.
