“This is by far the best local eatery! I eat here almost every day. All the food is outstanding; as I eat healthy, I normally get the steak or chicken with salad and yuca or black beans. Of course a Cuban coffee and just sometimes one of their delicious desserts. I always bring home yuca and salad for dinner. For now, am staying away from carbs and have lost 11 pounds since going here.!! The servers are fantastic and very friendly. The entire restaurant is clean which is a huge thing to me! Highly recommend!!“

“Enjoyed our first stop in Tampa at Flan Factory! Esther greeted us with enthusiasm and asked if we had ever been there. After saying it was our first time in Tampa as well as her son's restaurant, she gave us what she thought we'd love. The food and Flan was AMAZING!! I later went inside to talk with her and she and her husband were the most genuinely hospitable people you could ever meet. She recommended great beaches, etc. And we exchanged information about our cultures and favorite places to visit. She loves Nashville ❤️. Told her to come visit us in Tupelo for the Elvis Museum. “Despite quite a few recent one star reviews we decided to take a chance on Cuban Breezes last weekend and are so glad we did. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was almost full when we entered but we were soon greeted with a smile and within a few minutes a small booth was cleaned and ready.

Our server was Maddie and she could not have been better, friendly, professional, attentive and knowledgeable.

Their website mentions a meatloaf Cuban, which I immediately had my heart set on, but sadly it turns out this is only available occasionally as a 'Special' and Maddie said it usually sells out pretty quickly.

We ordered yuca fritters, a Cuban, a Hawaiian Cuban (which yes, sounds a little crazy)
tostones, congri (think Cuban dirty rice) plus a chardonnay and an ice cold beer.

The food came out in a timely manner and everything was hot, well prepared and delicious, at least as good as any Cuban we've had in Fort Myers, Miami or the Keys.

We both love a good Cuban sandwich, or its even sweeter cousin, the Medianoche, but agreed with Maddie that the Hawaiian Cuban is our new favorite, sort of the Cuban version of tacos al pastor.

Our whole experience could not have been more positive (maybe a few less F-Bombs from the kitchen staff). Great food at fair prices, cheap beer and a friendly staff! Give Cuban Breezes a try and, as for Maddie, ask for her by name. You won't be disappointed.“

“Stopped in Francis Cafe after getting a haircut at Champions Barber next door. Normally, this restaurant isn't open on Dundays, but because of the hurricane and people without power, they decided to open for the day.

They were extremely nice and courteous. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, a cafe con Leche, and a sunny D.

Awesome little spot to stop in for some Cuban food. We will be back!!

Just as the roast pork is delicious, the coffee with milk is also excellent. The prices are consistent. with the food. The treatment is familiar and pleasant, you don't have to wait to be served. “I’m from Tampa. Spent my entire life here. I have made it my buisness to know the little “hole in wall” local places. This is exactly that. I used to come here all the time years ago. It’s been quite some time so when I moved back to this area I was eager to find out if this place survived the pandemic. Thank god it did. The cafe con leche is buttery and creamy. The Cuban toast is crunchy and soft on the inside. The food is awesome and authentic. The service is informal but I don’t mind that at all. The prices I believe are the best part. This isn’t the place that will run you 20$ for a coffee and sandwich. Ive been coming here for years and will continue to for as long as I can. I recommend“
