“Really great small place on the water. At first glance you feel like this is not going to be great being it is a small shack with limited seating but the food was very good and had a very authentic taste. Had the vegetable burrito - contained broccoli cauliflower plantains potatoes rice and salsa. Very good. The side of sweet plantains was really good as well!“

“Of course the seafood is downright delicious at Captain Craig’s Restaurant. What was unexpected is the sublime homemade key lime pie. It is the real deal, complete with a beautiful toasted meringue topping on this glorious rendition of this classic dessert. If you have no room for dessert, I recommend ordering a piece of the pie to go.“

“We stayed at Ceekside in last summer and this cute little bar was just a short walk away. The bartender was super friendly and accommodating. We also met some awesome new friends there! Looking forward to visiting again this summer! This was our best memory of our vacation last year! ❤️“

“Twisted Shrimp was delicious. Thomas (the waiter) was a hoot. My party of 4 all had something different. We also shared two desserts. It was all good. Indoor seating is limited. We ate outdoors and was visited by an Iguana in the tree. (sweet!) I recommend anything on the menu. Great place to eat!“
“Olo was wonderful!!! He made the night amazing! Thank you we will be back!!“

“On our 2nd visit to Island Grill, we had the spicy salmon bowl, and mahi tacos. They were both good with nice flavor combinations and ingredients. The reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars, from us, is their special menu that they have around happy hour time. We had come a couple days earlier, excited to try their tuna nachos (which we saw on like 10 other menus throughout the trip, so although theirs are the original, it’s not the only place to order them). Only to find a special happy hour menu that was confusing and charged $15 extra for us to share the nachos. Seriously? It was just two of us and we should be able to choose how we eat. A $15 surcharge is ridiculous. I think that was my first time walking out of a restaurant. We didn’t even order because I didn’t feel like they deserved our money. The only reason we ended up back there another time was because friends brought us and really wanted to go. Atmosphere is important for us and the surcharge for sharing food with my husband did not feel like a welcoming or casual atmosphere.“

“The pizza was FANTASTIC! The restaurant had a comforting atmosphere and the food was great. Leo makes one of the best pizzas in Key Largo if not the best. Being from Italy it reminded me of the flavors of my hometown and culture. Congratulation to Leo and his pizza, spectacular!“

“The service was good, the appetizers (craked conch, conch chowder) were wonderful however, we did not enjoy the grilled snapper nor the fried snapper. They were absolutely flavorless...I requested lime/lemon, added salt and black pepper and still was unable to enjoy it. Would I go back? yes, I would just order something else.“

“I don’t typically write reviews, but this restaurant is absolutely amazing. Every food item we ordered was extraordinary. The filet mignon croquettes are to die for. I ordered the brisket burger which was so delicious, and I was so happy to be able to order it rare. Which is rare to be able to order anything other than well done at a burger place. And my girlfriend ordered the wagyu burger which was also extremely delicious. You can also taste the quality of the fries, because that they’re cooked in the wagyu oil versus seed oils. The picanha tacos were so delicious with a perfect sauce on top. And the dessert, the dulce de leche filled churros were INSANE!!! Everything exceeded our expectations. We were on a drive down to the keys and didn’t think we’d find a quality restaurant but as soon as we saw the menu online we knew the restaurant would be amazing. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Florida. I usually never order burgers but the meat was such amazing quality. Can’t wait to try some steaks next time“

“Super friendly greeting as we walked in. Amazed by the plant based choices with unique flavor combinations. Ordered the “Egg” n Things Wrap (scrambled tofu, red potatoes, black beans, carrot, quinoa, avocado, spinach, pico), and the Mint2B Smoothie(Blueberry, Mint, oats, vanilla, and cacao nibs). Everything was delicious, fresh, and healthy! Should be more places like this in the Keyes! Thank you for a healthy plant based alternative 🙌“

“Stopped by the tasting room while on vacation. Loved everything we had. Got home and regretted not buying any bottles while there. Luckily, these wonderful people will ship this golden deliciousness. The shipping was super fast. And here I am a week later on a voyage with the Lost Viking--superb offerings.“

“My cousin and I go down to key West about two times a year. On the way back up we always stop at this restaurant. We especially like the seafood chowder which is in our opinion the best. You can sit at the bar and look out at the ocean while you sip on a drink and eat the great food. I highly recommend Wahoo's.“

“We visited while on vacation. The first time we had the ice cream and some of the chocolates. The next day we returned and bought more ice cream, chocolates, and candy as souvenirs to take home to the kids. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and looked like they genuinely enjoyed their job. I love the decor too.“

“Knowing it was the home of the original rum runner made it a hard one to pass on stopping. So glad we did. Grabbed some lunch as well. Coconut shrimp with the sauce to dip it into was delicious as well as the tuna we had. The original rum runner was delicious.
The scenery around there was amazing to just walk around if you want by the water. Plenty of seating and swings along the way.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“I took my family there back in 2010. We took a cruise and found out that this place was affiliated with a former Steeler. Having been raised and still a Steeler fanatic this place was awesome. The accommodations were amazing and the service outside was great. Just trying to plan a return trip! Going on 14 years later.“

“Key Largo’s Best-Kept Secret for Breakfast Bliss
Tucked away just off the main drag in Key Largo, there’s a little breakfast spot that doesn’t shout for attention—but once you find it, you’ll never forget it. This cozy breakfast house is the kind of place locals try to keep to themselves, and for good reason: the food is unreal.
From the moment you walk in, the vibe is laid-back Keys charm—bright, breezy, and welcoming. The coffee is strong and smooth (they know how to brew it right), and the smell of sizzling bacon and baked goods hits you like a warm hug.
But let’s talk about the food. The crab cake Benedict is out-of-this-world good—fresh, buttery crab with perfectly poached eggs and a tangy hollandaise that tastes homemade. The French toast is something you didn’t know you needed in your life—light, citrusy, and topped with a hint of powdered sugar and fresh berries. Even the classics like scrambled eggs, hash browns, corn beef hash and pancakes are done right—crispy edges, fluffy centers, and clearly made with care.
The service? Friendly, fast, and the kind where the server remembers your name and your coffee order after just one visit.
It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and breakfast feels like a treat instead of a routine. Whether you’re heading out for a day on the water or just looking for a peaceful start to your morning, this hidden gem is the perfect spot.
Fair warning: once you eat here, you’ll start planning your mornings around it. The best breakfast in Key Largo? Without question. Just don’t tell too many people—we’d like to keep this secret safe a little longer.“
