“I am a pastry chef which makes me super selective on what I like. I don't want something that just looks amazing, it has to taste amazing as well, so if you have never got a cake from Cakes Plus Tampa you should, i highly recommend them!!! This is the amazing bakery my hubby used for my requested Chopper themed birthday cake! They also made my amazing Super Bowl stadium birthday cake 2yrs ago. Hubby also said they have amazing customer service and loves that you talk directly to Chef Mario Torres every step of the way from ordering to picking up. He has given Chef Mario the theme each time and has been blown away by the results when he goes to pick up. Thank you Chef Mario!“

“Let me tell you how amazing this bakery is! I paid a deposit with another bakery for my daughter's 12th birthday party for a Dr. Pepper themed cake, which was on Saturday November 9th, and that bakery called me on November 8th at 5pm to cancel!!!! I reached out that night to Angel Sweet Bakery explaining my situation. with less than 24 hours notice they came to my rescue!!!!! Not only did they make a cake for her birthday they made the exact cake my daughter was hoping for! They had the cake ready in time for her birthday and the price could not be beat! I will only use this bakery from now on and will only recommend this bakery. They also have pastries, cakes, and coffee! Run to this bakery for all your birthday and holiday needs! Family owned and family friendly. They treat you as family and you can not beat the prices they offer! THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU GUYS ARE TRULY MY ANGELS!!!!!!!“

“I love this place. I found them at the indie market in st. Pete and I have been obsessed ever since. The best macaroons I’ve ever had. My husband even ordered me an adorable macaroon cake for my birthday. Couldn’t recommend them more!“

“I cannot recommend Crembo enough! After going to the gym, this is a great place for a quick bite to eat or a smoothie. On Monday’s they have special dinner menus, and today’s was pizza (3 different types), pasta (2 variations), and a salad option. It’s all homemade and delicious, I highly recommend going for a yummy sit-down OR takeout Kosher meal in Tampa!
Make sure you follow & check their Instagram before arriving, as their hours of operation can differ depending on the day from what is on the website.

“Best bagels I’ve ever had, and I’ve been eating bagels for many years! There is a slight crunch on the outside and they are soft inside. These will ruin you, you can never enjoy a bagel from anywhere else again. Same with the cream cheese! And the staff is so friendly and make you feel welcome!“

“Cute little upscale coffee & pastry shop. I have been at Sucre Table a few times now and I have had a great experience each time I visit. I tried their Salted Caramel Latte, Lavender Latte, Orange Chocolate Latte and classic Vanilla Latte - they are all very tasty. Their croissants are fresh and flaky, my personal favorite is almond, but the chocolate praline is to die for. This place is pricey, but it is located on Kennedy Blvd., so I am sure the rent is insane. I look forward to trying more of Chef Brenda's pastries and cakes in the near future.“

“The cakes are delicious and cute! The gift bundles or towers with cellophane and a pretty ribbon are a nice touch for any occasion. They have cute, unique gifts for purchase in the store for most occasions (Easter, mother's day, father's day, birthdays, etc.).
Their customer service is great. I've been to this Carrollwood store on 4 or 5 occasions and each time, the service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.“

“Hands on Sweets did an incredible job bringing our dessert dreams to life for our wedding!!! We knew we wanted more than a cake for dessert, and they had SO many options to choose from. Chef Marie was such a joy to work with during our tasting, and helped narrow down the choices to fit our needs. At the wedding, the cake and the assorted desserts both looked and tasted FANTASTIC. We didn’t get to eat any during the wedding since we were so busy, but our venue packages up 2 of each dessert for us to take home. Eating them all week has been my daily highlight! She even managed to create sugar cookies that represented our cats look elegant enough to include in our wedding day. How sweet and special. 10/10. We’ve already decided for our first anniversary we are placing an order to enjoy all of our desserts again!!“

“This is, hands down, the best sourdough bread I have ever had. I have been a customer of Sassypants Sourdough for a couple of years now. Every single special occasion with friends or family, I put in a big order.
Every single thing I have gotten has been incredibly delicious. I am a huge fan of English Muffins and get at least a dozen with every order. They freeze for single use beautifully, as do all the loaf breads.
If you have never had sourdough brownies, your life will be changed for the better.
The Rye breads - insanely good. Way up on the fave list. Right up there with the specialty loaves. You haven't lived until you have had a big bowl of spaghetti with the Roasted Garlic, Rosemary & Olive Oil Sourdough loaf.
I was even fortunate enough to receive a centerpiece loaf for Christmas last year, which was all the rage with the family. My family also regularly makes Eggs in the Basket with the plain sandwich loaves. Chef's kiss.
And, to top it all off, the owner is an incredible human and has a true gift. I will be joining the next 101 class, and cannot wait. Shelby is such an absolute delight to be around.
I would give Sassypants Sourdough 100 stars if I could. I am, and will be, a client as long as they are slinging out loaves.

“Just devoured two savory Colombian empanadas from Mi Patria Bakery and I’m still thinking about them. The outer crunch? Perfect. The filling? Rich, comforting, full of flavor. But the real magic? That little cup of salsa they include. Zesty, spicy, and layered. Dipping the empanada in it somehow made everything more alive. Like it unlocked a bonus level of flavor.
The shop itself smells amazing, like you’re walking into a warm embrace. The energy was upbeat and the service was so kind. The cashier greeted me with rapid, beautiful Spanish (all I caught was pelo azul) before noticing I was struggling and switching to English with a smile.

“I found out about Matt’s mid December, I had a chocolate chip cookie and it was out of this world. I was in need of a gift idea for friends and family who live in other states. These cookies are just what I was looking for! I quickly placed 6 orders and all were delivered in plenty of time for Christmas. I ended up getting boxes for local family and friends too. Everyone who received a box commented on how amazing the cookies were. The variety of flavors is fantastic! I will definitely order from this great company again! “I LOVE this bread and purchase it at Apna Bazaar on Fowler. It's the closest taste and texture of my Grandmother's recipe and reminds me of my childhood.
