The Sea Sun pinot noir a bit too sweet for my tastes, but a good deal for happy hour. The Caymus cabernet is a good alternative.Staff needs a bit of training, but I recommend Copper Shaker. We live near by and have been coming in for past several years.“
“The title of this review is the Dublin Sour. I returned to Saint Petersburg for work after moving away 6 years ago. After having a work dinner on the Pier, I recommended the group go for another drink at the Vinoy. I could not be more pleased with the service at the Veranda. I asked our bartender if he could prepare a Dublin Sour, and he delivered a delicious drink following what appeared a great deal of effort. I enjoyed the first one so much, I ordered a second. “Our group of thirteen dined here today to celebrate two birthdays, seated at two tables. We spent close to $800, and I have to say — the food was exceptional and our server was outstanding. The staff provided warm and attentive service that truly stood out. Unfortunately, what should have been a joyful celebration was tainted by the behavior of the new ownership. A gentleman, who appeared to be part of the new management team (a man in his early forties), sat and later stood in different areas of the restaurant, repeatedly glancing at our group — the only African American party in the establishment — as if we were out of place. At no point did he acknowledge our tables or the two ladies whose birthdays we were celebrating. Yet, he made a point to warmly engage with non-Black patrons seated at the bar. The contrast was noticeable and deeply disappointing. In 2025, it’s disheartening that anyone still needs to be reminded that the color of money is green, and respect should not be selective. We value ourselves, our experiences, and where we choose to spend our hard-earned money. While the food was phenomenal, the lack of respect and basic acknowledgment from ownership left a lasting negative impression. We will not be returning, and I truly hope the new owner learns that real hospitality includes treating every guest with dignity and appreciation — not just those who resemble him. #Disappointed“

“Asian Fusion with a Touch of Italian Green Pagoda has a pleasant atmosphere. They could do better quality control on making sure the plates are clean. Our server was pleasant and helpful with the menu. But after he took our order we didn’t see him again until we were done and asked for the check. (Someone else delivered the food.) So, he never checked to see if our food was OK or to refill water. As for the food, it was pretty good overall. We started with very nice coconut soup (basically a Thai tom kha), if slightly too sweet. The pork dumplings were very good. The ginger chicken entrée had nice flavor, but the chicken pieces were a little tough. The server highly recommended the snapper risotto, which seemed an odd choice for an Asian restaurant. Nevertheless, the snapper was a generous piece and nicely cooked. The sauce on it was delicious. The risotto, however, was on the gummy side when it should have had a silky texture. I would go to Green Pagoda again and try the whole fish and some sushi.“

“Ever since I first saw the Don CeSar, I knew I wanted to get married at the historic hotel for it’s grand appearance and beautiful décor. From the moment we toured the hotel to our wedding weekend, the Don CeSar was nothing short of amazing to work with for our destination wedding. Despite being closed for 6 months due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Don CeSar General Manager, Barbara, and the Director of Events, Kasey, had open communication and made the entire wedding planning experience as seamless as possible. They were compassionate, caring, and did everything in their power to make sure the hotel and its courtyard was reopened (and in great condition!) in time for our wedding. (We were the first wedding back the weekend of hotel’s reopening.) Kasey, Barbara, the hotel staff, and the hotel banquet team (chefs, servers, and bartenders) went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was the best day of our lives. We truly received a royal experience as the bride and groom. Additionally, the hotel and its staff made sure that our guests were properly accommodated. Every single one of our guests were impressed by the hotel staff’s amazing top tier service and had nothing but great things to say about the hotel. When it came to the actual wedding day, the banquet team provided first class service. They even accommodated unexpectedly moving our cocktail hour indoors due to rain without missing a beat. The banquet chef prepared an impressive meal to perfection for our 180 guests. One guest even made sure to comment that it was “the best filet and salad” they had ever had. The pastry chef, Amanda, also prepared a cake that was a rendition of my grandmother’s 1950's wedding cake. The spectacular appearance and taste well exceeded our expectations. The servers and bartenders were nothing short of amazing as well. There were no lines to get a drink, and each server was very attentive. My planner, florist, and rental companies had zero issues working with the venue to set up the grand ballroom. The band/violinist were able to perform without any issues. Our wedding day/weekend was truly perfect and the Don CeSar made it memorable and beyond anything I could’ve ever dreamed of. I would highly recommend this wedding venue to any newly engaged couple looking for the best beach wedding experience. There is nothing else quite like the Don CeSar.“

“We went here for my birthday during spooky Season. The restaurant was so cute and aesthetic! This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in st pete! I am a little disappointed that they downsized their menu. They used to have the best burrito with steak (I forgot what it was called), and it was so cheesy and saucy. Now they have one burrito option with your choice of protein. It wasn't cheesy or saucy at all. There was a tiny bit of queso on top but overall it was very dry and not good. Also, i should add: I'm a vegetarian and I would order the burrito with the meat on the side and give it to someone I was with. There aren't many other vegetarian options anymore. Drink options are great! I'll definitely return but only for chips, salsa, queso, and margaritas. I won't be getting entrees there anymore.“

“Me and my partner own the Royal Tot tiki bar in Charlotte. The menu is a little Gin heavy for a Tiki bar. We tasted 9 drinks from the menu but there is a wide variety. Some we liked, some weren't our jam but all of them were mixed well. Good bartenders (Cuba and another bartender that knew what she was doing), heavy pours, great DJ, great vibe, cool spot. “I booked Paul's landing for a Friends's birthday lunch. We sat inside with a beautiful view of the marina. Our table was ready on arrival.  she ordered oysters and a salad my friend and I had the salmon with vegetables. It was delicious. Salmon was perfectly cooked, but there was very little food. Six oysters is $24. I guess when you're eating at a restaurant in the Vinoy that is to be expected. Our server seemed very rushed, never stuck around very much till the very end. Overall, though we had a great time, I would choose somewhere else for food options, but the ambience here is beautiful and fun. I recommend maybe doing drinks and an appetizer and having a main course elsewhere. “
