“What do I recommend? Anything!! Everything!! We had the fried grouper dinner with coleslaw and fries. The grouper was so fresh and juicy. And flaky!!! The coleslaw tasted like my mom’s! 🥰 and the hush puppies were pure perfection. We had planned to visit a place over in Destin but the prices were ridiculous!! $42 for six jumbo shrimp?! C’mon!! I honestly wasn’t expecting the quality of food for the price I paid! Great food. Great prices! “Went to Fish-On in Destin today and had an awesome experience. The manager and chef both came out and introduced themselves, which you don’t see much anymore. We learned they’re one of only three restaurants in Destin serving locally caught seafood that’s truly fresh — never frozen — and you can taste the difference. The chef has been on Hell’s Kitchen twice, and you can tell he takes real pride in what he puts on the plate. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the prices were surprisingly fair for the quality you’re getting. If you’re in Destin and want something legit, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.“

Our waiter, Pat, was a standout from the start. His friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of the menu made us feel right at home. He took the time to recommend some of the restaurant's signature dishes, and his enthusiasm for the food was infectious. We began our culinary journey with a dozen oysters on the half shell, which were incredibly fresh and served with a tangy cocktail sauce. Pat's suggestion to try the chargrilled oysters was a game-changer; they were rich and flavorful, topped with a heavenly garlic butter that had us savoring every bite. For the main course, I opted for the grilled Shrimp Platter. Both dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and traditional recipes. “I'm a transplant from New England and whenever I see Maine lobster on the menu I'm skeptical. I always ask if it was previously frozen before ordering it. The waitress wasn't sure so she said she would check and came back and said it was fresh. I can tell you without a doubt it was not fresh and definitely had the tough, overcooked taste of previously frozen lobster.

Other than that, the food was great, the services was fantastic and the view was amazing. Just be honest about your frozen lobster next time. 🤷🏻‍♀“

We havnt done their breakfast bec 23$ a person for a breakfast buffet is out pricing themselves. We did try their small pepperoni pizza for room service last night it was ok.“

Our server walked out (Chante) and right away started to engage with the kids and made them smile and feel so welcome.
