We started with chilled lobster claws and Oyster Rockefeller — both incredible. My friend, who thought she didn’t like oysters, called them the most delicious thing she’s ever eaten. We shared a petite filet cooked medium rare to perfection, paired with a glass of Pinot Noir that felt magical. The service was seamless, with both servers providing warmth, professionalism, and great energy. Combined with the amazing food, relaxed atmosphere, and a breathtaking view of the sunset over the beach, this experience completely exceeded expectations. I can’t wait to come back.“

“Being from Boston it’s hard to find good chowder and seafood. This restaurant has fish chowder that is awesome. My mom got the fish (haddock) and chips, I had the scallops both were wonderful. Our server Tiffany was so friendly, attentive and fast.“

We were sat at a lovely table outside overlooking the water. Our waitress Becky was very attentive professional and pleasant. “Waited at least 20 minutes for a table outside. They were crowded as usual. Waited 5 minues for Jennifer to bring us coffee and water. She said she'd be right back for order. 15 minutes later others were seated, and actually served. Our waitress rook the order fir a couple who had just been seated and then took ours. I complained to the hostess who took off our coffees. The waitress apologized for serving the other couple first. She didn't understand that we had waited an additional 20 minutes to PLACE our order. I never complain, I've been wait staff. The wait staff there has always been fabulous until today. She is clueless.“

“What an unexpected delight! Delicious fish and loved that they had malt vinegar with it! A little disappointed they served steak fries instead of English chips but everything was excellent. Wish we had more nights to try some of the other English dishes. The Ole Smoky Old fashioned was also superb. And what a fun way to present with the burnt cedar. Better than our Wisconsin old fashioned. ?. We will definitely return next winter.“

“This is literally the only edible Chinese food in Venice. It’s not my all time favorite, because I come from NJ and NYC where the greatest Chinese takeout in the country is. But there are some pretty good things here, which is excellent compared to every other place in Venice. The wonton soup, boneless spareribs, sweet and sour pork, egg roll and general tso’s chicken are all good. I go here sometimes once a week and don’t get tired of it. The only things I haven’t liked from here are the bourbon chicken, which was really dry and needed a lot more sauce and the fried rice, I really don’t like the fried rice here. It’s the only place I’ve ever asked for white rice with a combination platter. The service is the fastest I have ever comes across. My food is always ready in 5 minutes without fail. It’s definitely worth a visit. It’s 4 stars in Venice. In Sarasota, it would be more like 3 stars. Still good either way.“
