“My husband found this gem online and figured we’d enjoy it since we are fans of shareable and tapas style dishes. Brendan (sp?) was our server. He was kind and attentive. The food options were healthy, fun, and creative. I especially enjoyed the dumplings and my husband devoured his mochi Wangz. We also tried Mr. Rice Guy which didn’t quite give the oomph we were looking forward to. Drunken Belly was pretty decent (a few pieces were a tad too fatty to fully enjoy). We’d 100% go back for the atmosphere and aesthetics alone. Service was phenomenal and the vibes were super chill.“

He is full of energy, explained the dishes, gave us suggestions and was very attentive.
My favorite from his suggestions, Maguro Truffle, Sticky Ribs, Hawaii XO Roll and the Double Tekka Roll. For dessert we had the Ube Cheese Cake. Sweet, smooth, perfect to share with two. Yes! I would order it all again.
The ambiance, 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
The decor is cheeky/romantic with dim lights. But noise level was pretty high. It’s ok if you are sitting right next to each other. I can hear larger parties speaking louder to be able to carry a conversation.
Restroom situation, 2 ⭐️ ⭐️
There is 1 bathroom for females and 1 bathroom for males. I didn’t really noticed it until the line came out of the bathroom area and people were standing near our table. When I needed to use it, wow, I was next in line but it took forever. Something to consider upgrading or maybe make them unisex so both stalls can be used.
The restaurant added a lounge next door. It has its own door or you can access through the restaurant. It also has its own cocktail menu that you can order from while dining.
These are suggestions for improvement but not important enough to stop me from coming back.“

“Amazing bao buns! Great selection and very fresh. We dined in around 4pm and our food was made to order. Can’t wait to come back to try more of their amazing food. Also wha an awesome venue. The decor is cool, Harry Potter music was playing and it reminds me of Star Wars. 100% recommend.“

“The most chaotic check in awaited us in for our reservation at 6pm,people who arrived after us in same party sizes got seated before us,families congregating in both waiting areas,and two completely disinterested staff at the check in who were barely audible when calling out party names above the din,it took one other colleague (a polite young man with curly ish hair)to take the initiative and seat us 39 mins after checking in. Baffling. To be fair to him he seemed to be doing all the heavy lifting at the check in desk and run rings around his colleagues in terms of customer service.Server Lee was super friendly and whilst fulfilling her obligations of trying to explain the now varying sizes and combinations and pricing structures of options now available for meal sizes on the menu,the drink specials,the loyalty program - it all just felt exhausting to get to the point of ordering food and a drink! Thankfully the good food saved this experience from being a complete wash out and the loyalty programme sign up saved us 10% from the bill.“

“Boku Sushi Maitland is my new favorite sushi place. I tried two rolls, Drama Queen and Foxy Lady. My husband had the Beef Wagyu. Our friend had the curry and EVERYTHING was delicious!!! Even the miso soup was very tasty and fresh. Ben our server was informative, personable and attentive. We spoke with Miller, he gave us more interesting information about the restaurant and asked about us and where we were from. Highly recommend!! Loved the food and the eperience!!!“

“I had an outstanding time tonight at the 5689 Vineland location. I told Frank about how I’d seen the restaurant online and I drove from Alabama to find there while in the area to go to universal. He rolled out the red carpet treatment and showed me southern hospitality that you don’t normally find at restaurants anymore. I was a guest- not just a customer. I WILL MOST DEFINITELY be back next time I visit Orlando- which will be pretty often since I’m now a pass holder at Uni. I HIGHLY recommend eating here. Was so impressed I went to the soupa store next door and bought a lanyard for my badge at work. The food was good, it was prepared fast, and it’s been a while I’ve been at an eating establishment and felt that welcome. Five star service and five star tasting food. “Not usually a fan of Americanized fried fusion items (not everything is fried, of course) but King Bao is the obvious exception. The slower service during lunch hours is the product of an understandably high volume of customers, and I'd consider it worth the two or three extra minutes I usually wait for the food here. I wish I could comment on more of the menu, but I'm such a sucker for the truffle tots and the Firecracker Shrimp bao that I tend to find myself ordering the usual instead of trying out new options. There's a chicken bao that's really good too, and I remember one of the specials a little while back (not sure if they still have it), the Baja Avocado was bomb.“

“Let me start with the crab rangoon fritters with mozzarella. They were everything I thought they would be, ooey gooey with a perfect mozzarella and crab filling ratio. For rolls, we went with the Philly roll and the hot roll. Both were delicious. We will absolutely be visiting WAVE Sushi - Maitland in Maitland, FL in the future!“

“This weekend, we enjoyed our experience once again. Great ambiance and timely service. This time, our lunch was good…albeit didn’t have the same explosive (high caliber) flavor as we’ve known - we’ve eaten here well over a dozen times. Perhaps there was a change in chefs this past weekend, or you’re in the middle of hiring a new one..it wasn’t exactly the same. I went on a Thursday evening - so it was R&B Thursday as well as ladies night, so we got in free before 11. (not sure what the cover normally is)
The music was great; there was a DJ on site, & he played a good variety of older vs newer songs. The waitresses were friendly, and present. The vibe/atmosphere is chill, but sexy. I am 40+, but was out with 30yr olds, & we all fit in just fine. It was full of people, but not too over crowded. If possible, reserve a table.
The drinks were good. The food & drinks prices are comparable to most places I've been.
My only complaint is that I ordered the nachos because I was told that that was one of the only shareable sized things on the menu. But when I received them, they were small single serving portion....but the price hadn't changed. Additionally, they only had like 3 chips on the whole plate, & they were extremely salty.
I would not order the nachos again, but I would DEFINITELY go here if in Orlando again. Overall, they get a thumbs up from me!“

“As much as we wanted this food and it became much better, today it wasn't as good as we expected. Fried rice was lacking the main ingredients, very little of them as they usually make it really filled with pieces of eggs , ham, and pieces of pork. We ordered a combination with pepper steak. Flavor wise was good, though. Coming from far and craving, this made us sto here. Just watch on being consistent on the preparation of the good and quantity of ingredients in it.“

“Everything was delicious! Best won ton soup we ever had. And we had to get the Angel Wings just to try it. Definetly a good decision! We had the sizzling duck and yum beef for the main course. Food came quickly and service was great.“

“I’ve been here back to back and I’m just so in love with the food. Firstly, I rated their service 3 stars because I was never greeted or even heard welcome in the times I’ve came to this place. I saw people standing by the kiosk machine that how I knew that you order your food. So there is no human interaction with placing your order. The only human interaction is when they bring your food to the table. The servers are friendly.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with the green beans, chicken tempura sushi, fried rice with chicken and shrimp and the passion fruit with mango boba. The food was well seasoned and super delicious. Everything was a 10/10
