“Had lunch a Blackwater and it was terrific. I ordered the fried shrimp plate and after a great Caesar salad, I got a platter of a dozen large sized shrimp and crispy French fried potatoes. The dining area was an air conditioned viewpoint that overlooked the Withalahochee river. And the prices were quite reasonable for the whole package. A definite and surprising 5 star day.”

Chef - always on the lookout for that special restaurant where exceptional prepared food and ambiance and great service meet my expectations for that five star rating - I found it in Crystal River Fl. at the “ Vintage at Fifth” . From the salads the appetizers, the crispy Duck, the Rib Eye Steak even the Macaroni Chicken Cheese dish all were superb. My compliments to the Chef and management for their dedication to excellence!”

“I purchased a Lemon Meringue pie and a Pumpkin Streusel pie from this pie shop for Thanksgiving, and both were exceptional. The lemon meringue had the perfect blend of sweetness and tartness with a beautifully fluffy topping. But the Pumpkin Streusel pie was truly unforgettable—creamy, warmly spiced pumpkin filling layered under a crisp, buttery streusel topping. It was absolutely delicious and is now my new favorite pie. This shop clearly puts so much care into their baking. I’ll definitely be returning!”

“FANTASTIC ice cream, super awesome staff and under new management so they are always open during the hours they say they are opened now. I will ad that the decor is super cute, come stop by and bring the kiddos and grandkids. The owner also owns Follow that Dream Day Care which has a great reputation for care for the kids.”

“My hubby remembered coming to this same location many years ago and the food was good. We don't know if it's under the same ownership.
No lie it was a little pricey for us. My husband's Sea Bass was $52. but my hearing isn't always the best and I thought our server said $42..
Oh well, I can't really complain because my husband said that it was THE BEST Sea Bass that he'd ever had at a restaurant. The sea bass was cooked absolutely perfectly and the serving size was much larger than normally offered at a restaurant. He was so pleasantly surprised and pleased at how good it was.
The mash potatoes were good to both of us and the brussel sprouts were excellent as well. I got the steak that was on special and it was large enough to share a good portion with my husband without missing it.
We topped off by splitting a piece key lime pie.
Our server was excellent and very attentive. I wish I could remember her name!
We would definitely return if we lived closer but, we'll be sure to come back if we're ever in the general area.
I've got to add, some people dress up and some don't so come how you want.”

“My husband and I were passing through and seen “Oysters” which happens to be our favorite food. We stopped and were not disappointed. They had a tempting Valentines special but my heart was set on fried oysters. I will definitely be back next time I am passing through.”

“Order a Greek Salad, nothing Greek about it, no feta cheese and lettuce was soggy. Worst salad I ever ate. Order decaf coffee and it was old as the hills. They need to, remove the carpet or steam clean it..removal would be better!”

“I always go for the carmella if not one of the seasonal flavors, I've never been disappointed. Since the locations have came to citrus county I've pretty much forgotten Starbucks!! We just need one in lecanto. Most consistent coffee place I've been to. Thankful to have locations near me.”

“Typhoon Thai has delicious food with fresh ingredients and great flavors! The owners are very friendly and welcoming, which adds to the nice atmosphere. The only thing I noticed is that the portion sizes seem smaller compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. That said, the quality makes up for it, and it’s still a great place to enjoy a tasty meal”

“This Bar/Restaurant was Very Nice, Our Bartender Jerri was very Pleasant,quick and Give great service, The Food was Excellent, I had The Grilled Chicken Salad, the Salad was Fresh, Chicken was cooked Right, the Bar was very clean, the Nightly Specials / Activities were displayed for each night. There’s lots of free parking and it was lite up nicely… this would be Kid Friendly if brought in before the Entertainment started… I would highly Recommend this Place to my Friends and Family… Handicap Accessible”

“Amy’s on the Avenue is an absolute hidden gem in Crystal River and a must-go spot for breakfast! You can really tell the care that goes into each item, especially the baked goods. The highlight was when Joe came out with a tray of fresh cinnamon rolls straight from the oven… unreal. On top of the amazing food, the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. Friendly, cozy, and delicious — this place is a must go place!”

“Came for lunch after a long hot day in the sun. We had boneless wings, kids chicken tenders, and the special of the day a pressed Cuban sandwich. Food was delicious! Price was fair! And the server, Carlee was sweet and attentive. She did a great job, especially with us having 5 kids at our table. and we will definitely be back!”
