“This is a nice restaurant. Has large seating capacity, good food, and the waiter was amazing. Restaurant very close to Tampa airport and some hotels. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a Bahama breeze, there aren’t any in my area. Prices were a bit high, but the food was delicious. All in all a very nice experience.“

I had the pleasure of trying several dishes during my visit, and I can confidently say that everything was a perfect 10/10. Each plate was a delightful explosion of flavor, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to quality and creativity. The menu offers a diverse selection, but you can’t go wrong with their honey fried chicken and the catfish which was made to order was literally perfect!
But it’s not just the food that makes Mango’s Cafe stand out. The customer service was exemplary. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive.

“Place is really close to home so that's convenient. Good food. Best for takeout, not eating in. They don't speak much English so point to tell them what you want and they'll take care of you. I ordered the vegetable tray, since I'm not eating meat right now. It was seasoned to perfection and perfectly crispy brown. I didn't miss meat at all.“

“Live music! I had no idea I was walking into an Art show and a concert. I really don’t want to say much, if you miss out on Trufusion Band before they drop an album and it’s going to be a few to see them live. Just know I warned you. Beautiful voice and talented musicians. Great night out with the wife. She put together a great day to celebrate my Birthday a few days early. Not to forget the food…it was emotional. “4/9/24 Tried this spot for the first time today and it was slamming!! The cabbage was delicious and cooked perfectly!! I even ordered plantains and I normally don't eat such, but they were spectacular!! I even had a piece of red velvet cake for dessert. “This is such a nice hidden gem. I had a short time for lunch on a weekday and wanted something good to eat. Looked up some places by me and this one came up. When I got there it doesn't look like a restaurant style but it is such a good place to eat. You can grab something already made and the selection is incredible or you can get something that requires some extra love. The food was delicious and a lot. Highly recommend.“

“What an amazing experience. My girlfriends and I went to Lepley's for brunch before a concert.
We had reservations at 11a and were immediately seated. The vibe was so nice, DJ playing music, TV's were playing sports and our waitress was very attentive and catered to our needs. I had catfish and grits and my friends had chicken and waffles with eggs/grits.
Everything was so well seasoned and cooked well. I had a drink and whewww it was nice, strong and good!
We topped it off with the sweet potato brownie.
I expected a brownie and sweet potato combo, but it was just sweet potato's shaped into a brownie with ice cream: it was still very good!
Check out Lepley's for brunch, you won't be disappointed!“

“As a vegan I was thrilled to see so many options for me to choose from. I had the Ital Stew and it was so so good. My husband had the "best Jerk Chicken ever" and I tasted the Black Cake he got for desert and it is divine. We will be making this a monthly date even though it's a good 45 minutes from home. It's worth the trip!“

“The Shrimp & Company is a quaint seafood restaurant on the corner of 7th Ave and 22nd St in Ybor City. If you have walked past it headed for the restaurant across the street then you have missed the best seafood you could eat in Tampa. You have to try their Florida or Louisiana Steam Pot, any of the seafood baskets and their shrimp stuffed mondongo. The food and terrific service is worth another trip to the small family owned restaurant. Don’t miss it!“
