“As a visitor to the state, I stumbled upon Calypso and was immediately impressed by their top-notch and welcoming service. While I waited, the owners shared that their coffee is imported from a family farm and even offered excellent recommendations on which beans to purchase. I also found it amazing that they sell green beans, so if you're interested in roasting your own, you have that option. Last but not least, the coffee itself: as a coffee shop adventurer, I typically order a latte to gauge the quality of an establishment. Needless to say, Calypso crafted a banging latte that was well-balanced and packed with flavor.”

“Visited Fogata today for the first time. The tacos were delicious— filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Tried three different meats - chicken, steak, and carnitas - none disappointed, but the carnitas were our favorite. The chips and salsa had a homemade feel and added the perfect crunch and zing to start the meal. The rice and beans were equally as flavorful with great seasoning. This place serves up great, authentic flavors, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious Mexican meal!”

“We had a wonderful experience at Crave this past Sunday. We were able to have breakfast outside with our pup. Very nice sitting area with parking in the back and a large grassy area. The food we ordered was delicious. I can’t wait to try more from their menu and enjoy some of the many events they provide to their customers. Pups On The Patio is the next event we are excited about. We’ll be there supporting Crave!”

“We've been going to Mary's semi-regularly for breakfast, for about 6 months now. It can't be topped. We finally went in the other day for a lunch..and got the burgers. Not gonna lie, that was the best burger I've had in 8 years of living in Florida! Mine, my wife's, and my son's were all perfection. My other son got the chicken tenders...he said they were fantastic. MUST TRY!!!”

Got the two-meat combo, ribs and chicken. The ribs? Phenomenal! Tender, full of flavor. Chicken was solid too, scrumptious! People are awesome, like eating at at relatives. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and you definitely won’t leave hungry. If you're in town and craving BBQ, Willie’s is a no-brainer. 😋🔥”

“I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.”

“I ate here for the first time today. The cheesesteak panini was delicious. If I hadn’t know it was gluten free bread I definitely wouldn’t have guessed. My husband got the Putine and loved it too. I would highly recommend their food even if gf isn’t required for you.”

“We found Eden Abbey after looking into event spaces in our area, which we had a great experience with when we went with their private room, but will definitely be back time and time again for their amazing food and drink menu and family friendly vibes. The staff were friendly and on top of things each time we’ve been. All around a great local place to visit whether it be just to hang out, for a family dinner, or a special event.”

“Love everything about this place. If I had a dream of a Chowder House this is what it would be. During a recent trip to Boston, for one meal each day I had Chowder...and Tony's is still my favorite Chowder. Some in Boston may disagree but I recommend they take a trip to Tony's and see for themselves. My wife loves the Salmon. Good Hushpuppies are a bonus. Highly recommended when in Mt. Dora.”

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.”

“We stopped by for lunch today and I chose one of the several Daily Specials of Lasagna & Garlic knot and OMG 😳 that was honestly the best I’ve ever had with just the right amount of spice. My husband had 10ct wings “Garlic Parmesan” and also Loved them. We shared a Greek salad with yummy dressing. We will most definitely be back! Sam was a great server and we never had to ask for drink refills because she saw we had half or less and filled them up. Great Food, Great Prices & Awesome Server “Sam””
