“Good food, reasonably priced, good people“

“Rabbit for Easter!? And those hot cross buns, woo hoo hoo doot, doot, dooo! lol. I give them something like a five for nice elevated dining with delicious fancy foods and impressive, exemplary hospitality on a level you don't see often enough anymore, in a beautifully curated arty modern space. I don't mind throwing good money down on food and an experience worthy of it and 1921 delivered, mostly. Was looking forward to the deviled duck eggs as shown on the online "example" menu but they didn't have them on the day. Shoot. And while I realize this is supposed to be an experience, we waited well over an hour for our mains to come out, long after starters and cocktails ran out, and I was about done, restless, and feeling full. So, whatever was special with the mains was sort of lost; at least on me. Our bill was also messed up, they double charged us, and took even more time still, to fix.“

“This coffee shop is a hidden gem. My mom and I stopped here during my trip to Orlando from Chicago and it was an unexpected highlight.The owners were friendly and welcoming, the ambience was inviting, and the coffee was delicious! I had the Hades’ Wrath, which balances a strong initial punch of spice from cayenne with a sweet cinnamon note after. “5 Stars all the way around. This is a fantastic location for a great lunch with friends. The atmosphere is very quaint, charming, relaxing, comfortable...I could go on. I am so glad a mutual friend recommended it to us.Our server explained that everything is made from fresh from scratch and that the chef has been with them for over 20 years.I started with a nice craft beer and a bowl of the Irish Whiskey Onion soup. The soup was very good although I used my knife to cut through some of the cheese and fried onions. My bride ordered a sangria and a mushroom burger. The savory chicken sandwich with fries was ordered by two of us and the Philly sandwich with fries was ordered as well.All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we had no room for dessert. While our meal for two cost over $80, it is a bit on the pricey side if you decide to have 2 beers, a sangria, soup and 2 sandwiches. But it was worth it!This is a great place to dine. We dined on the main floor but you should check out the bar and lounge upstairs as well. Or outside. Just loved The Goblin!“

“Although the food is very good - the service needs improvement, took 15 min to get a drink , and it wasn't that crowded , while we watched the bartender gabbing with costumers , I ordered a French Bordeaux, it was served warm , I may sound like a prude but when they charge $20 a grass it should be done right, it a nice place and I will return but just saying.“

“We are sooo... lucky to have Oakwood right here in Eustis. We've had some great BBQ in our lives, and Oakwood is some of the best. Wifey thinks their ribs (special $ during the week) are as good - or even better ! - than back home in Chi-town. That's a real compliment. Their pulled pork sandwich special (includes a side and a soft drink) is well worth it and delicious. Strongly recommend. Love their takeout. People are helpful and friendly.“

“It's one of our favorite places. We drive 2 hours to get the no.1 burger in the state. The OKeefes Burger! Best in the State. Start out with the mushrooms, also yummy. Fast food made fresh, service with a smile and just an overall great experience.When I first starting going to Culver's a couple years ago I used to make excuses to friends about how you'd have to wait longer after placing your order. You'll pull up ahead and they'll bring it out to you when it's ready, but it's because they make it fresh! Recently I started realizing that happens all the time at McDonald's and Burger King now, and very little of that food is likely made fresh.Five stars for service, cleanliness, pleasant attitude, fresh food that actually tastes pretty good.Subtracted 1 star because the French fries aren't very good, and because come on it's fast food. I can't give it five stars. That's ridiculous.Vegetarian options: So here's the deal, Culver's has a veggie burger. And it's actually a veggie burger. It's not a soy burger, it's made of veggies. So it's actually a pretty decent veggie burger.I don't think it's even shown on the menu anymore, I guess it depends on which Culver's you're at, but I assure you they should have it. I think it's called the Harvest Burger. It's a little mushy, but it's not a soy puck so you decide whether that's something that sounds good to you or not. I found it pretty flavorful.“

You always pay more when the restaurant is in Mt. Dora. This restaurant is very well attended. You can eat inside or outside, there is plenty of seating.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by the transformation of this restaurant. Was there in 2019ish and was not good. This place has changed in a good way. Lots of breakfast options (they serve lunch too). Prices are not insane and quality and service were good. Food was prepared as requested. This is a kid friendly restaurant. Give it a try. “I had a fish sandwich there yesterday and it was great! It was three times the size of McDonalds fish sandwich. The bun was a little too soft but didn't take away from the freshness or flavor. The fish was a large chunk of soft white fish. It was simply great. I'll be going back there again. The cost was a little over $11.00 for the fish sandwich, fries and a drink, so it was more expensive than both McDonalds and Arby's for two sandwiches. It was larger and more filling and I only needed one sandwich though. Great!“

“I got the southerner burger and truffle fries and both were delicious. The ladies in the front of the house were also great, they were all very sweet and attentive! All around great experience. I will definitely be back to try several more things as there were so many more options on the menu that sounded wonderful.“

“A group of closed friends(10) recently dined to celebrate a birthday this last Sunday.I ended up sending the hash brown potatoes back for being too salty.Our waiter Samantha was very gracious in taking care of it.I ended up substituting for grits later I noticed that I was going to be charged extra for it.Overall the atmosphere was excellent the wait times continue to be long and for the many times that I have been there the food preparation remains inconsistent at best.Samantha was accommodating and professional. We ended up eating the food at the other location & my my my my my my GAWDDDDD! my chicken rice bowl was FIRE! I knew it was buss once I saw the cook was a handsome black man! Definitely was a 13/10! “I go to kaluas multiple times a month due to working near by. Fantastic service, after only my 2nd time, they treated me as a regular. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced. The food is especially good when Gary is in the kitchen. I always get the buffalo chicken sandwich but all the entrees that get brought out around me also look fantastic when garys cooking. 10/10 would recommend coming here by car or boat.“

“Ordered apple waffle but apples seemed canned and just put on top.Also difficult to find as it is adjoined to a business much more visible and located immediately upon entering the plaza from the main road. Easy to miss unless you know it is there.“
