“It is Locos! It is consistent with what you would get at their establishments. I quite enjoy their burger. Decent deal and yes it really does appear to be from scratch.

Wings are hit and miss sometimes. I like them super crispy. Always ask and sometimes they still are too limp . They need to always provide more celery and why no carrots?

Need more local beer options from Athens and GA. Keep promoting. Also include some fancier drafts.

The vibe? Some wait staff are attentive and sweet. People who go can get chatty and loud. Usually though it is welcoming.

I miss the one by campus. Felt local and not as commercialized. That was long ago though.

“I placed a large order for pickup and had issues with the order going through. I reached out via email and got a very quick response from Michael. He spent alot of time and effort trying to help me. I was able to pickup the order yesterday with no issues, the food was delicious, service was super friendly. I have already recommended to a few friends in the Athens area. This is a great location if you have food restrictions like vegan, keto or gluten. Highly recommend!“

“10/20/2025. After my visit to the eye doctor we treated ourselves to the South Kitchen. Our waitress was very pleasant and poised. We had a hamburger (cooked perfectly - 5 Stars) and a Fried Green Tomato Sandwich which was delicious - 5 Stars). Beautiful building. Hope you enjoy my pictures. Very relaxing place to go. “This place is doomed to fail. Ordered takeout and noticed the health rating as wife left with food. A glorious 85! Needless to say, food was tossed in the garbage and we will never return. “Got the recommendation from Kaleb Dance at Bobcat of Athens as this first time eating here. Food was fresh, really good and priced right with fast friendly service. I got the steak philly with everything on it and 5 piece wings (hot) as a combo. Wings are super tiny so I wish I hadn't skipped on the fries. They were pretty busy with people coming in and out so that says a lot in my opinion. The wing flavor was perfect, not too spicy with plenty of flavor. The Philly was buttery rich and the bread was soft but held everything in place“

“We had a waitress and a new employee she was training to take our order. It was a little confusing to begin with. Forgot to get my daughters choice of drink. Then brought out a glass of water with a fly in it. Other then that, it was all good. And just as nice as could be with us. We had 6 adults and 5 children. We had just left my grandsons football game. And decided to eat here.. the food was wonderful, no complaints. Friendly staff..“

“It was a to go order and the food was brought to the car . It was warm and delicious . We had a grilled Salmon and a Tbone ( like) steak ! The sides were so Devine I ate my steak the next day . Brussels sprouts were so yummmy I SQUATED to honor them , the French Onion soup made me HOLLER like they were whooping my behind, may be the best I have had ! Give it a try !! I mean that soup calls my name and I try to communicate .. wish I had a bowl now !!“

We didn’t even know but we showed up in time for Happy Hour and got half off on the appetizer and we came on a day with a New York Strip special! A huge shout out to Anna for her awesome personality and her wonderful customer service!

We will be back and we will tell others!

Cole, our waiter, was so nice and took great care of us during our dining experience. Can’t say enough good things about the food! My filet was not only a great value but exceptional w/ asparagus & fingerling potatoes. My wife’s salmon was amazing too. It had been a long time since we had last dined here and kind of had overlooked it as a dining option but we are already looking forward to a return visit and hope to share with some friends so they too can enjoy this hidden gem. -kimbop was not sweet, and the amount of seasoning was great. Like the rice was actually seasoned- not just white rice like some fake korean joints. Fillings to rice ratio was pretty good too. Only thing is that I expected tuna mayo instead of just tuna? But I feel like this is more of a preference so just an fyi

- udon had unexpected flavor, not that it was bad, just different than what I expected. Not like regular japanese udon but more of korean old fasion udon.. (가락국수 스타일!). It was tasty with hearth broth:)
