I recently visited Big Kahuna restaurant in downtown Atlanta with an old friend and her 5-year-old son. The server recommended their most popular dish, the Big Kahuna burger, which I found to be decent, accompanied by fries. My friend enjoyed her tacos, and her son happily devoured his cheeseburger. However, overall, I felt that the food left more to be desired, and I'm uncertain if I would return based on my palate preferences. It was giving a little bit of dive bar vibes.
Went with a workgroup party of 16. Made reservations a couple of days in advance with no problem. Promptly were sat and our servers and staff did an amazing job from cradle to grave. The food was really great and surpassed our expectations.

This place is probably the best place I visited while at DragonCon! The food and (especially) drinks here are just beyond anything you could imagine. During DragonCon they have special drinks just for the week and every one of those are just BEYOND anything you could imagine! The bartenders (Lalo, Trent, Mariela) were just above and beyond!! Everyone here just lives to serve. Highly recommended!
