“We celebrated my niece's 16th birthday and even though the food didn't come back quite like some wanted it, we definitely appreciated the server Jamani for assisting our server who seemed a little overwhelmed and the Manager Taylor was awesome! He was great with fixing the issues and making the situation better considering it was a birthday brunch celebration! He & Jamani even sang Happy Birthday with us to her! “Let's just say they asked us to give them a 5 star rating and if we do we get 5 percent off... But the food was warm, the food was over priced, the server tried to charge us for items we didn't receive and my daughter got potatoes with her order . My daughter told the server she wanted onions and pepper . She brings out the potatoes with no opinions or pepper.Then she proceeded to lie in my daughter's face and say they're in there. She said where??? Then she leaves and goes back and says we're out of them. But you just lied and said they're in my daughter's potatoes when clearly there wasn't any on them.. I can go on and on with the issues me and my daughter had there. And the manager didn't come over and say anything.... Mannn I be trying to support my black own business but mannnn have to be and do better ....“

“Touched down in ATL and this was the first spot the lady and I grabbed food. Phenomenal service from Micael; he was very personable, great suggestions and was fully transparent with questions the lady asked. Honesty is the best policy and the food was IMMACULATE. Habanero Pork Belly fried rice and a flavored pancake flight. I had a beer-mimosa which was unique for me. Our best brunch experience in years, possibly all time. It set the tone for the trip. “Waffle Wednesday is our son’s favorite. This location is doing a great bringing the community together with WW, pictures with Santa and other community friendly events. Super friendly staff with great service.“

“I have only eaten breakfast here, but it is always good and inexpensive. This more of a grab your food to go spot. Get the breakfast potatoes and the fried green tomatoes. The country steak is extra crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.“

“Just tried Maple Street for the first time this past week and it was great! I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Delicious! And the biscuits are huge and fluffy, not dry. My hubby had chicken and waffles and he gave it two thumbs up as well. The food was served in a very timely manner. The place *does* get busy but it's understandable.

I have to give a shout out to the employees. The guy who took our order was so kind and answered our breakfast questions with no problem. I enjoyed the whole experience and look forward to going back.“

“Had a late lunch here. Ended up ordering a side of French toast and a side of bacon since I didn’t want a lot of food and most menu listings included several items.

The French toast was very good, as was the crème anglaise and raspberry sauce. Bacon was perfectly crisp and delicious.

Hubby gave me his grits and part of his biscuit. The cranberry apple butter was SO good! I loved the twist on a classic. The biscuit was perfect, soft on the inside with a flaky outer crust. The grits were a pleasant surprise! I’m kind of a grit snob and I enjoyed them very much. I admittedly stole a bite of his scrambled eggs and they were perfectly cooked.

No pictures of the food, but the restaurant was bright and cheery and the staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely go back.

“Their food is so delicious no matter what you order. I've had the waffles, eggs, bacon and grits and the egg sandwich and all tasted so good. They have participated in three of our Sharon Church Craft Events and our vendors and people attending our event love their food. They are really sweet, amazing ladies and vendors. I highly recommend them for your catering needs.“

“Ms. D is a godsend in the Atlanta community, specifically the Historic West End. Follow them on IG and fb for updates on live music. They cater, and rent their dining room for special events. They're also an in-restaurant full service dining room. Ate there today for brunch at about 11am, and my friend had the burrito with vegan sausage and vegan cheese replacement and devoured it. The fresh fruit bowl she got with it was so ripe and perfect! I ordered shrimp quesadillas, which were remarkable, with a yummy, very fresh and crisp green salad. They had ginger tea, caffeinated and decaf coffee. Service was excellent. They've partnered with the city of Atlanta to hire teen waitstaff throughout the summer for fair pay. Nothing is more wholesome, mom and pop, and worthy of support and celebration than a true community based business! I will always support this eatery!“

“Blue Chip has fresh and rotating lunch options daily, as well as a balance of options across all food groups. The team is very hardworking, especially Gabby and Ana. I have been to Blue Chip countless times and they both consistently multitask and work in an incredibly fast-paced environment to deliver lunch to hundreds and hundreds of customers each day. They both greet me by name every time I visit (3-4 times a week) and truly get to know customers, despite the large amount of customers. Gabby is constantly quickly checking out customers (often times multiple customers at once) to facilitate the flow of patrons. I honestly think it only takes 10 seconds for her to input my order and for me to pay - I’m always impressed. She also regularly aids with other aspects of the kitchen, helping serve customers/clean up when needed/restocking the many utensils/sauces/seasonings. My friends and coworkers often comment on how efficient, kind, and hard working she is. Lunch may be a small part of our days, but it’s always wonderful to see Gabby and Ana at Blue Chip.“
