The atmosphere my steak the lemon drop and my waiter was perfect!!!
I have never had a request for med-well steak denied before (or the request to butterfly my filet); but I was last night. The highest temperature they would cook it at was a medium. Because I HAVE to eat gluten-free (not because of a choice, but out of necessity) I had to make a decision to get the Hawaiian steak since there were no other steak options for me. Was assured that the soy sauce was gluten-free. Definitely not what I wanted though.

I visited Houston's for the first time 18 years ago as a traveling consultant where I had one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. There are two steaks on the menu and the hawaiian rib-eye is hands down my favorite. Marinated in a pineapple-soy-ginger marinade, the last bite is just as good as the last. It is paired with a loaded baked potato and is pretty fantastic as well!
