“July 05, 2025 Greetings, This evening, I had the opportunity to celebrate my 40th birthday, and to mark the occasion, my partner and I chose to dine at a fine dining establishment in downtown Atlanta. Regrettably, after we visited your downtown Atlanta location, it became clear that my hope for an outstanding dining experience was unlikely to be met. Upon our arrival, we had to wait despite having made a reservation several hours earlier. Eventually, we were seated at a table no larger than a nightstand. I immediately observed that, unlike the other tables, the candle on ours was unlit. This should have served as an indication of the service to follow. Once seated, we were presented with the menu and asked for two sweet teas. Soon after, we placed our orders. After waiting twenty minutes, we realized that our drinks had been forgotten. We subsequently reminded our waitress that we had ordered two sweet iced teas. After an additional ten minutes, our drinks arrived. Fifteen minutes later, our food finally arrived. Upon its arrival, I noticed a sticky substance around the $75 steak I had ordered. After considerable effort to cut into it, I tasted the meat and found it to be overcooked—its flavor reminiscent of a meal unintentionally left on the grill by an intoxicated cook. It was unsatisfactory, and I requested a remake. At this point, we had spent over an hour at your restaurant, and the staff began cleaning up. Finally, around 12:05 a.m., the re-cooked steak was brought out. Although it was an improvement over the first, it still did not merit the price of $75. Given that my potatoes were cold and the minimal ice in my refilled iced tea had melted, I opted to forgo the steak altogether. My partner, who is more willing to accept mediocre service, encouraged me to take the steak back to the hotel, which led us to request a to-go box. Ten minutes later, we received a small cardboard box, barely big enough for my food. Further, we were not offered anything to carry the sauce in, utensils, or even a bag. Shortly after, we received our bill, which totaled approximately $195.00, excluding gratuity. At that moment, I was overwhelmed with emotion and informed my partner that I needed a few minutes outside to collect my thoughts. I found it challenging to rationalize $200 for a meal arguably valued at $20 and customer service worth $10. Despite my objections, my partner insisted on refraining from discussing this matter with a manager. He wanted to avoid any conflict on my birthday. While I appreciate his noble intentions, I possess a strong aversion to inequality in any form. The treatment we received in an establishment that professes luxury and exemplary customer service was inadequate and perhaps a sign of your treatment towards Minority LGBT customers. We deserved a better experience. Although my birthday weekend was great, this experience was horrible. I am genuinely disappointed with my visit to your Atlanta location. I would have had a more satisfying experience at a more casual establishment, such as Texas Roadhouse, for a fraction of the costû. Sincerely, Gregory A. Reid Jr. Brandon F. Williams“

“This is a fantastic restaurant right on the beltline across from LadyBird. A wide variety of high quality cuts of steak and delicious appetizers. The thick bacon and short ribs are excellent appetizers. The half salads as well as wedge salads are large and deliciously crafted. The cowboy ribeye is what I had and it was amazing. As a table we had the peanut butter banana cream pie, Rebecca's layer cake and the bread pudding. Everything I tasted at this restaurant was fabulous. If I could give it a 10 I would.“

“When there for early VALENTINE'S night I was disappointed steaks were under cooked. Service was bad. Not worth the price we paid. Will not be going back.“

“The food was incredible as always. I took my boyfriend for his birthday and had made a special request for his dessert to have a candle and say happy birthday. Our waitress forgot to do it and when we mentioned something, she apologized but didn’t compensate us in any way. Then we left and she forgot to give us our leftovers so we had to run back. Considering how much i spent, that disappointed me.“

“We receive a gift card every year for the past three. We live 170 miles away and look forward to visiting but have only visited once and it was amazing. Food and service both was outstanding and now with two years of gift cards we have got to get in there and probably bring the family.“

“We have been going to the Ivy for years and wanted to try out the new restaurant. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere was romantic and the details were intentional. The Carpaccio was melt in your mouth delicious. The crab & artichoke “lasagne” was divine. A lot of crab. My husband got the wagu NY strip and he enjoyed it! 10/10 would recommend for a nice meal and great experience.“

“Michelle In concourse C was amazing. I was greeted right away and ordered steak and eggs took one bite of the eggs and knew they were either liquid or powdered…yuck however I asked Michelle and she was honest and I asked her to bring me a plate to remove the eggs from my plate. At that point she offered with more potatoes or fresh fruit. She kept a beautiful smile and was kind throughout the whole meal! Thank you so very much!“

“SM44Atl delivers an unforgettable dining experience from the very first bite. The steak was exceptionally tender—beautifully seasoned, perfectly cooked, and full of rich, savory flavor that practically melted on the palate. The macaroni and cheese was the ideal comfort dish: creamy, decadent, and baked to perfection with a blend of cheeses that made every bite irresistible. Even the broccolini impressed, cooked to a crisp-tender finish with just the right amount of seasoning.
The oysters were fresh, bright, and impeccably prepared, while the wagyu meatballs were remarkably rich and buttery, each bite offering a depth of flavor that only high-quality wagyu can deliver. And the fried lobster? A show-stopper—light, crispy, and tender inside, with seasoning that elevated the natural sweetness of the lobster without overpowering it.
Beyond the food, the service was top-tier. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff made the entire experience seamless and welcoming. The atmosphere tied everything together perfectly: stylish, warm, and upscale without losing its comfort. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself, SM44Atl sets the standard for excellence.
Highly recommended—this is a spot you’ll want to return to again and again.“

“I made the reservation not realizing Bentley's is a hotel restaurant. Had I known, I would have gone elsewhere and would have missed a very nice meal. First, the manager/greeter, waitress, and the server were unbelievably welcoming and attentive. You felt like they were truly glad to see you. The baked goat cheese appetizer and the lobster bisque stood up to the best restaurants in Atlanta. Truly delicious. The filet was cooked perfectly but a little over seasoned for my taste. The brussels and risotto were very nice. Portions were more than we could eat. PS - they validate your parking ticket so you don't pay for hotel parking.“

“Ordered their 6-oz Renegade Sirloin with a loaded Baked Potato and Mixed Green Salad. Chose Med Rare rare so it would be Medium on pickup. Perfectly cooked, 1” thick, nicely seasoned, and the potato was also perfectly cooked. The salad was fresh and crispy. Excellent takeout meal at a great price.
We also ordered a 1/2-lb burger and fries; it was cooked medium well as ordered and the lettuce and tomato were fresh and set off to the side as was the bun, avoiding sogginess. The fries weren’t crispy though, maybe from sitting too long in the plastic box, they were damp.
We would definitely order again. One thing that could improve- they did not respond when I checked in that I had arrived, and after waiting 10+ min I called. The meal was ready. they had just had not brought it out, maybe because it was a busy Saturday night but I hadn’t seen a single takeout order brought out in the time I was parked. The other cars in the takeout spots were empty so I think people dining inside were using the pickup spots.“

“Bones is always above and beyond. The service is impeccable. The environment is relaxed and the food is fantastic. I had the bone in ribeye medium rare with a baked potato loaded onion rings and grit fritters for the table everything was incredible. I personally think this is the best steakhouse in Atlanta, but I will say this Steamhouse Lounge has better lobster bisque. It’s not that Bones lobster bisque is bad. Steamhouse Lounge is just fantastic with a huge portion of lobster a little more acidic little more punch.“
