“I don’t leave comments on restaurants usually but I wanted to come here and give Kendall our waitress a shout out. My girlfriend and I came in last night for the first time and not knowing anything. Kendall elevated our experience! The food was great (try the green beans) and everything was served super fast.“

“Was feeling sick and wanted hot broth to warm me up. I asked for samples of the pho broth and bun bo hue (spicy lemongrass beef) broth and they kindly obliged. Ended up ordering the bun bo hue with extra chili oil and was pleasantly surprised they threw in a small container of shrimp paste that made it feel very authentic. All the meats were extremely tender as well!“

“I used to eat Dua a few times a week for years, but the last year or so the quality has seemed to drop off a cliff. At first I thought it was an off night but the broth was off 3 or 4 orders in a row and I just gave up. It wasn't bad but wasn't good either, it was just meh. The broth used to be my favorite part, but they changed something with it and it's just not the same, it's watered down and some flavor is missing (maybe lemongrass?). Please fix the broth I really miss the Pho!
Edit: I ordered again 12/23 and it was great, so I changed my review to reflect this“

“So Ba is one of those hidden neighborhood gems in East Atlanta Village. The vibe is laid-back, casual, and a little eclectic — it feels like a local hangout more than a polished chain, which I actually love.
The pho is the star here: rich broth, fresh herbs, and generous portions. Their vermicelli bowls and spring rolls are also worth trying — light but filling, with clean flavors. The menu isn’t overwhelming, which makes it easy to pick something good.
Service can be a little hit-or-miss depending on the night, but when it’s on, it feels personal and welcoming. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the cocktails (yes, they’ve got a bar) are a fun surprise for a Vietnamese spot.
If you’re looking for authentic, comforting Vietnamese food in a chill atmosphere, So Ba definitely delivers. It’s not fancy, but it’s soulful, and that’s what makes it stand out.“

“Service was super fast and friendly. Got a bowl of veggie pho and the crispy egg rolls. The pho was delicious and simple but the egg rolls really blew me away. Super fresh and crispy definitely made in house. These are a must have if you stop through.“

“The food was amazing!! The atmosphere is awesome, though the music is just a tad loud, but it’s nothing that detracts from the restaurant! There seems to be only one woman holding down the place but she has a great attitude and is very attentive! Would go again!“

“Chino was absolutely great. Approachable, open to questions, and cares that you have a great experience. The food is definitely worth coming back for and don’t be afraid to ask for a recommendation. I got the shrimp banh mi after asking and do not regret my choice. The vegetables were fresh, crisp, the shrimp grilled perfectly and if you like jalapeños, will be the kick that brings it all together. And the milk tea was just *chefs kiss*. For sure going into the rotation“

“Another great neighborhood eatery that has been around for 25 years! Family favorites: pork dumplings, lo mein, general chey's stirfry, thai coconut soup, and the salads are actually really hardy and yummy. They have done a lot of give-back fundraisers for the neighborhood fire house and schools over the years and we really love that. We always eat here when the kids come visit from college. Friendly staff and good value for what you get.“

“I stopped by The Works in Atlanta while I was recently there for a trip and choose two dishes at Saigon that looked good. The fried rice had a really good flavor and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The beef dish was also amazing and the cilantro added a great flavor to the noodle and beef dish. Will definitely be stopping back at Saigon! A great spot to have a drink and grab some quick food after work.“

“This is the best Banh Mi Sandwich in atlanta.
I know you would think Buford Highway, however the bread is toasted perfectly and my favorite is the Brisket Banh Mi… it’s loaded and the flavors are amazing with the fresh cilantro and extra jalapeños…“

“Colonial Kitchen has become a favorite place to dine! Gourmet food at reasonable prices, stylish, cozy ambiance, wonderful patio, excellent service. I still prefer eating outdoors for Covid safety, and they are happy to oblige, where many places refuse to serve, even if they have seating available! Very grateful!!“

“Shrimp egg rolls are off the chain... yep.... I said it. Worth it. Better get 2 orders. Beef steak is really good with fried rice. Better get dinner plates cause lunch is small and it's a little expensive per-say but, all is good in the neighborhood.“

“the best Pho broth I think I've ever had. Service was very basic. Had to ask for extra basil and cilantro and jalapenos to get the same as you'd normally get from other pho shops. But that broth itself, the freshness of the veggies and the quality of the food was worth nearly the hour drive. We will absolutely be back. Five star food, three star service. Edit: been back at least a dozen times over the years, as amazing as always.“

“My first time trying Vietnamese food or pho and this was a great choice. I had a big bowl of pho with several types of meat and a whole bunch of crunchy delicious vegetables. My mouth is watering right now just remembering how good it was and how many tasty things were in there. We were seated and welcomed in right away even though it was close to closing. Service was great, food came fast and was delicious. Very quiet and low key atmosphere.“
