We got there and the restaurant was full, but still we were seating almost immediately. They had a large staff and everything was efficient and well run. The fried turkey is the best fried turkey I’ve ever tasted and the squash casserole is top tier. Let’s not forget the corn bread dressing and the giblet gravy. Too good!! “Stop for a (hopeful) quick bite to eat on our drive home. Food was great, service was awesome. There was a mixup with our food and one of the meals came out way later than the rest of our food but our server was right on top of it and was very polite and nice. It was a great meal even with the small mishap.

“The steakhouse bacon burger was amazing!!! The fries A1 the wings were crispy I had the honey lemon pepper omg the best wings I’ve tasted so far in Augusta!!! Will definitely come back and will probably be right back the same day I’m a small girl but that’s the first time I ate my whole burger it was that good!! I didn’t even get a chance to get a picture but I will make sure to get one next time.“

“Stopped in here for lunch today and was not disappointed! I had a torta (like a panini) called the Fatty Watty. It has pulled pork, strawberry bacon jam, bacon pieces, and shredded cheese. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory. You can get it with elote corn salad or fresh fruit- I opted for the fruit and sprinkled it with Tajin and let me tell you something- what a spectacular meal so full of flavor and very filling! I’ll definitely be back and I’ll bring friends. The menu is super creative and though seating inside is limited, it’s definitely worth the trip! Next time I’ll save room for dessert- the dulce de leche empanadas sound great!“

“I visited The Patio for the first time yesterday, and I was truly impressed! From the moment I walked in, Toni made me feel so welcome. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful behind the bar. She took the time to explain the menu and drink specials in detail, which I really appreciated.

The food was excellent—I had the cheeseburger, and it was surprisingly flavorful in every bite. The drinks? Amazing! Not only did they taste great, but they were also beautifully presented. What shocked me the most was finding out it was Toni’s first day behind the bar—she’s usually in the kitchen! You never would’ve guessed. She crafted each drink with a perfect balance of alcohol and mixers like a seasoned pro.

I'm from the south so when you somewhere you expect the cheese grits to be blah... BUT NO.. Their cheese grits had so much flavor they were amazing. Everything was delicious! Someone was always checking in on us which I appreciate. The food was really good. The cheesecake was the best part. It was really rich with a HUGE marshmallow topping. It definitely reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory. Their Christmas decorations were a nice touch as well. I give it 4/5 stars. The only disappointment to knock down a star was that some of the games were broken and most of the balls were missing from the hippo game. That was one of our favorites. “I love Cheddar Scratch Kitchen! We have several up north. The honey croissants are amazing and a must have if you are stopping in or eating out. The southern fried chicken was an amazing deal. For $3 extra you got an entire second chicken breast. Only issue is the curbside pickup is not connected to the text you receive when order like all other major restaurant chains.“

“I recently went through a total Laryngectomy Surgical procedure. Before I totally lost my voice due to throat cancer, my brother treated me to a night out. We started the night at Joe's, walked Broad St., shot some pool at another establishment, and ended up back at Joe's as intended. Joe's was the best part of the night! We had the best conversations there! Some of my last conversations with him. Normally, the draft beer & juke box being down would be negatives!!! But, for that night, other than the bartender, we were the only 2 customers in the place! I t created an intimate and wonderful evening for me & my brother! We still got our drinks, talked the night away, & had a magical night! Here it is, over 2 weeks later, after 12 hours worth of surgery, 1 & 1/2 days in i.c.u., plus 7 days in the hospital... Never able to speak again... I'll never forget that night at Joe's Underground! Thank u!“
