“My wife and I stopped by to get breakfast in between doctors appointments and though the restaurant was extremely busy we were lucky enough to get a CLEAN booth right away!! The manager and his cook were both on the grill knocking orders out super fast with the waitresses and waiter busting there buts taking care of the customers not missing a beat!! We received excellent service-super delicious food and were out of there in less than 30 minutes!!! The managers name was Steve and he and his entire crew were absolutely amazing!! Thank you Waffle House for having such a great team at this location!!“

“I ordered catering for the 4th of July wknd. Everyone I dealt with was prompt and respectful. We ordered several racks of ribs to feed 45-50 ppl. They were AMAZING! ALL of my family & guests raved about them. The gentleman who delivered them was so sweet. They came hot and ready. I kept them warm until we were ready to eat and the quality didn't diminish. They were a little spicy (perfect!). Lots of flavor, moist and tender. I will definitely be ordering ribs and more from them going forward.“

“Stopped in here for lunch today and was not disappointed! I had a torta (like a panini) called the Fatty Watty. It has pulled pork, strawberry bacon jam, bacon pieces, and shredded cheese. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory. You can get it with elote corn salad or fresh fruit- I opted for the fruit and sprinkled it with Tajin and let me tell you something- what a spectacular meal so full of flavor and very filling! I’ll definitely be back and I’ll bring friends. The menu is super creative and though seating inside is limited, it’s definitely worth the trip! Next time I’ll save room for dessert- the dulce de leche empanadas sound great!“

“I visited The Patio for the first time yesterday, and I was truly impressed! From the moment I walked in, Toni made me feel so welcome. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful behind the bar. She took the time to explain the menu and drink specials in detail, which I really appreciated.

The food was excellent—I had the cheeseburger, and it was surprisingly flavorful in every bite. The drinks? Amazing! Not only did they taste great, but they were also beautifully presented. What shocked me the most was finding out it was Toni’s first day behind the bar—she’s usually in the kitchen! You never would’ve guessed. She crafted each drink with a perfect balance of alcohol and mixers like a seasoned pro.

I got a plate that I saw on their page, the wings, macaroni, and collard greens w/ cornbread and everything was truly delicious. For an appetizer, we had the Smoked Chicken Wings with house rub and Alabama white sauce—smoky, tender, and full of flavor. “Yes after 40+ years we could ALL use a make over...but its also part of the unique atmosphere that Villa Europa. It's old enough to have 1000s of memories. I have eaten there numerous times over my 55+yrs ? I have never been disappointed in the food nor the service. I'm from the south so when you somewhere you expect the cheese grits to be blah... BUT NO.. Their cheese grits had so much flavor they were amazing. “We went on a Monday night and it wasn't crowded at all. It still took a little bit for our food to arrive since they were short staffed but I'm glad the food was hot when we finally received it. Everything was delicious! Someone was always checking in on us which I appreciate. The food was really good. The cheesecake was the best part. It was really rich with a HUGE marshmallow topping. It definitely reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory. Their Christmas decorations were a nice touch as well. I give it 4/5 stars. The only disappointment to knock down a star was that some of the games were broken and most of the balls were missing from the hippo game. That was one of our favorites. Ultimately, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely be coming back for the cheesecake!“

“I recently went through a total Laryngectomy Surgical procedure. Before I totally lost my voice due to throat cancer, my brother treated me to a night out. We started the night at Joe's, walked Broad St., shot some pool at another establishment, and ended up back at Joe's as intended. Joe's was the best part of the night! We had the best conversations there! Some of my last conversations with him. Normally, the draft beer & juke box being down would be negatives!!! But, for that night, other than the bartender, we were the only 2 customers in the place! I t created an intimate and wonderful evening for me & my brother! We still got our drinks, talked the night away, & had a magical night! Here it is, over 2 weeks later, after 12 hours worth of surgery, 1 & 1/2 days in i.c.u., plus 7 days in the hospital... Never able to speak again... I'll never forget that night at Joe's Underground! Thank u!“

“2nd visit :we enjoyed it..I had the Ribeye, corn, loaded mashed husband had chicken fried steak,baked potato, corn. It was fantastic. I would now highly recommend this place. The service and atmosphere were outstanding. Portions are large so come hungry.... Husband's hamburger was raw and French fries were cold. My shrimp was extremely over cooked and was tough. She replaced the hamburger ( iron was worse than the first and they changed me for the fries!!! Bill came to a little over $50.. to think we could have gone to the best restaurants!!

Parking: This place is the worst place we've been and it's expensive. I would like to say upon our 2nd visit I would rate the food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. We will be returning“
