Desmond knows his way around the grill like you wouldn't believe.

“I usually pick any location with a drive thru when choosing a breakfast location in the mornings. About 2 months ago I decided to try something different and ended up at this Waffle House and was blessed to meet Ms. Keri. I have been pulling up almost every morning Mon-Fri. She even remembers what I order now. Her customer service as well as the cook that is usually there with her is superb! My new favorite location.“

“Great experience the only thing I didnt like which also came as a shock to me because I had not been to waffle house in some years was the now 20% upcharge for a to go order😳 however the cook and the server were very pleasant , the restaurant was clean, service was quick and my meal the fiesta bowl was amazing!“

“We had limited time before we needed to catch our flight. I picked this location due to the recent positive reviews. They did not disappoint! Service was immediate and super friendly. Our server Jodie was super sweet and personable. I think our food came out faster than drive through at most fast food places. Thank you to the entire staff for a wonderful experience!“

“Last week, after a disappointing breakfast at our hotel, my colleague and I decided to try the Waffle House on Washington Rd. Right from the start, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We chose to sit at the bar, where we could see the cook skillfully managing multiple orders. The menu, though simple, offered exactly what we wanted. I opted for the TWO EGG BREAKFAST, sunny side up, accompanied by a rib-eye steak and iced tea. The meal was thoroughly satisfying, and the bustling yet efficient atmosphere added to the experience. I would happily visit again and recommend it to anyone looking for a solid breakfast spot.“

“I ordered the biscuits and gravy (actually it was a single biscuit) and the advertised strawberry waffle with whipped cream on top. The best part of the meal was the biscuit and gravy. It was better than what I’ve had at most restaurants, but the biscuits and gravy at Pilot Flying J is still significantly better. For the strawberry waffle, I thought it was a little too mushy (I prefer a more spongy waffle). And the whipped cream wasn’t really cream, but rather a whipped topping that melts into a slightly milky but almost translucent liquid. The truth is, it wasn’t a bad meal. I’ve had much worse. But I’ve also had much better. I had expected top quality food when I walked in, and I was a little disappointed.The service and atmosphere was exactly what I had expected. Based on the service and atmosphere I would return to this Waffle House. But I would perhaps explore something else on the menu.“

“I first ate at this Waffle House a couple of years ago and I am always so impressed by how good, and filling, the Classic Waffle with fifty cents worth of Pecans really is for the price. This Waffle House is so clean and comfortable. Someone always steps forward to hold the door for Mr Marty, who has disabilities, and we are always cheerfully greeted. I feel very safe here, too. If there's a ruckus, the staff jump over the counter and keep the peace, quite gracefully, and if water is rising and winds are blowing, this is the last place to close and offers shelter. I rarely eat out, I'm a cook myself, but if I do, it's probably Waffle House.“

“The team here at this WH is great! They are always friendly and take care of you. This location is new but it is still clean. It is easy to get in and get out as well. We come across town to be served by this team! Thanks guys for showing that the WH is still worth it!“

“You hear the negative things about Waffle House all the time because of drunk folks acting a fool after the club. But there was something so beautiful I witnessed today. An ex-coworker came in the store; think his name was Trav. But you could see it instantly. The entire restaurant’s just went through the roof. The entire staff and customers were so excited to see him. He turned to me and told me he loved my hat. I told him I love the love you’re getting in here! One customer was on a video call with her cousin and she was like “look! There he goes cuz!” They were all proud of him and wanted him to come back. I could go all day about this. It was so beautiful to see all that love in a Waffle House on Walton way. Food and staff were great. It’s my new Waffle House for sure.“

“The best Waffle House I've ever been to! (And I've been to A LOT). I'm German and Iove Waffle House. It's the true Southern light. This particular location is the cleanest, with the most friendly employees. I never got the sticky table / menu / floor experience that usually comes with visiting Waffle House here, which elevates the whole food experience another level. The dishes were clean, they scrubbed the floors when we came in and the food was as good as can be. This Waffle House location is way further than others from my house and I still choose this over any others around Augusta. Thumbs up!“

“I went to Waffle House for the first time as a non-American fully prepared for chaos, cholesterol, and at least one chair being used as a diplomatic tool. I’d heard the legends, the rumors, the Yelp reviews written during active emotional distress, and I wanted every bit of that smoke. When I walked in and saw the cook yelling orders like a battlefield general, I felt spiritually welcomed. The floor was sticky enough to trap a small animal, which honestly just confirmed the authenticity. Somewhere between the third coffee refill and a stranger calling me “baby” with no prior introduction, I realized this was the cultural immersion I paid my airfare for. The food arrived fast, aggressive, and unapologetic, like it knew I didn’t deserve peace. Walking out alive, full, and mildly confused was deeply satisfying—because if you come to Waffle House expecting nothing but negativity, getting exactly that feels like winning.“

“I came into this restaurant after sitting in the parking lot for hours contemplating on even going in because I did not even have the money to eat. And I had not eaten in 3 days. I took off every piece of the jewelry that I had and the only pair of earrings that I had left and that bit the bullet and and went inside. And I asked a lady if she would please spare a meal for me and that I would give her my wedding bands and a pair of earbuds for a meal. At first she told me no because that she could get fired for that. I started to leave. But I guess she seen the tears and desperation on my face, as she sat me down and began to cook me a hamburger. She won't ever know how much that meant to me. Wherever you are lady and whatever you're doing I pray that God looks out for you and gives you every good thing in life. Thank you so much for that day“
