My daughter and I had business in Bainbridge, so we chose The American for lunch. There were only three tables occupied during what should have been a busy lunch hour. We ordered hamburgers, cooked medium. They were very rare, cold red and mushy center and dripping blood. There was no seasoning on them and we couldn’t get any salt and pepper. We ate there tonight for the first time. The food was really good and our server, Lilly, was the best. She was helpful when I told her I am gluten free, she suggested the trout dish. I will 100% suggest it too. If you're in Bainbridge and want some amazing food, you got to try it!
