“The food is ok. I can give it 3.5/5. Issue: If you order online, they’ll mess it up every single time. They DO NOT READ notes. I put in caps 2x with stars, ***NO BACON ON WEDGE*** and all 5 orders of salad have bacon on it. It’s extremely disappointing when I can’t eat my food.“

“Awesome, delicious, friendly service, and nearby! The best Shrimp Boil we have had in many years. The shrimp was good size, tender (not overcooked), sausage, potatoes and corn were perfect with the best seasoning ever. The juice was outstanding. The boiled egg was a surprise, must be a regional dish for Mal, but oh so good! Us southerns usually have our eggs deviled, but I have a new favorite! We support our new business in Monroe. The price is worth it when you are served food this good! Check it out!“

“Jenny is AMAZING!! She works her butt off to make sure all her customers are taken care of. I’ve never had a bad order. We have pretty much tried everything on the menu and it’s all GREAT!! She’s works so hard she has phones ringing two at a time holding them. It’s a very clean restaurant and Jenny is always so kind and remembers her customers!! Make you feel really good when they know who you are. Would I recommend absolutely!! Her wings are AMAZING. The flavor the crispy not dry or soggy. Her fish is cooked to perfection and her beef fired rice is a staple choice!! If you haven’t tried the restaurant yet you don’t know what you’re missing!! “Captain Ds in Monroe never disappoints. Employees are always friendly and professional, food is always fresh and never cold, and bathrooms are always clean as well as the dining area. Highly recommend eating here. If I could afford it, I would have dinner here at least four nights a week.“

“Food is always very good here and the quality is consistent. We ordered take out and they forgot to include our Lemon Chicken. We didn't notice until we got home, so we called to let them know. They apologized and offered to deliver it to us. When our delivery arrived they gave us free Rangoon's.

The staff treat us like family and we don't take that for granted. The food is amazing, always high quality and served fast. However, as good as the food and drinks are, that only scratches the surface. We love it because of the atmosphere. It just feels like hanging out with close friends and family. We look forward to seeing our favorite people and spending time in conversation. The attention to detail and customer service here is unmatched. I would easily compare them to some of the best restaurants in Atlanta. Their food can't be beat. We will be recommending this place to EVERYONE. “This is a weak 4 but I guess a 4 none the least. They used to have GREAT mozzarella sticks, however like most restaurants when customers discover a "Favorite" they change the recipe and it's just never the same. WHY do restaurants do that!! If it's not broken people let's not fix it. The ones they have now are sufficient and will "Hit the spot" of your craving. They are always hot and pair the best with the honey mustard sauce. Enjoy.“
