great food great people and it's a lot of food 😋
Today was my first time trying. I have had to come to Athens a lot recently for appointments. I knew I had to try this place because the parking lot is always FULL! They were VERY good! I loved the soft scrambled eggs and the house made sausage! Also, someone blessed me with a free meal! ❤ Thanks to yall and Thank you to my Lord for guiding my steps today!
Thought I had found long lost family when dropping through athens, well down to earth family place and they can tell you almost anything about Athens and Georgia football.
The food was simple and outstanding, highly recommend the sausage and tenderloin biscuit

Many regulars visit, which is a great sign. There can be a decent sized line, but service is efficient. Strickland's is considered the best place in Athens for old school breakfast food, with the best sausage gravy biscuit. It is the oldest restaurant in Athens and a local family owned business.
