“I wanted some asian food and after reading reviews settled on trying Woks Up. Its is not your typical chinese food place, its more of a create your rice bowl-stir fry. I ordered a General Tsao chicken mix with onions, peppers, broccoli, and green onions over fried rice. I also ordered their beef and chicken eggroll. Everything was good I just wish the portion of meat was bigger, it seemed lacking for what I am used to at that price range. Service was okay, they seemed pretty busy and atmosphere was typical for an asian place. Flavors were nice and portion was filling. Overall decent chinese food.“

“last 2 times i've gone the restaurant is closed despite google hours saying they're open. Extremely inconsiderate to the patrons who drive all the way to just be met with a locked door. It takes 2 ninutes to update your google hours. Not sure what's going on here.

“Never ate here before yesterday. First impressions are everything to the relationship between any business and it's customer. That being said, this place had a very good first impression for me. Food was delicious, service was fast and professional, and they have a television in every corner. It's not pretending to be something else. It's a pub and grill, and a great one.“

“Love the Hobo! This is THE place for burgers in the Athens metropolitan area! They are 10oz and always perfectly seasoned and cooked. They sometimes have elk burgers, which will impress. I would suggest their exceptional green beans as a side, frequently sold out. Their sandwiches, not so much, I think they don't do themselves justice with the quality of the cold cuts they have chosen to use. I have never had their fried baskets, but many rave about those also. Truly, no reason to go anywhere else for a burger in terms of quality and value. The dining room is always crowded, but they have some outdoor tables which are more pleasant.“

“Placed a To Go order because my husband was working across the street and had smelled it for hours after I hyped it up. He was all for the order and we live almost 2 hours away. I haven’t been to this Rafferty’s in 10+ years. My husband has never had it. I got the regular burger and my husband had the bbq burger and we also ordered fried mushrooms. Flavor is unmatched, quality was top tier and the way everything was packaged looked as if it took time, not just thrown together quickly. Even after an almost 2 hour drive, it was all still perfect! It reminded me of when I was younger and my grandparents took me to this same location often and I always got the burger. The staff then knew my grandparents by name and if I remember correctly, always remembered their orders. The burgers are the best we’ve ever had, hopefully another chance arises for more Rafferty’s in our future. Thank you for always being delicious and consistent.“

“We had never been here but my wife received a gift card so we decided to go for our 3rd wedding anniversary. We made reservations and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. We had money left on our card so we returned a week later and it was just as good as the first time. “Terrapin is one of those breweries that gets a lot right and after trying multiple beers that were standout in their own right I knew they were more than their IPA style. The chocolate peanut butter pretzel stout was really good and not overwhelmingly sweet. Several of the other beers were great and the server was really friendly. One of the brewers even came to the bar to recommend other beers. Great service and great beer. An absolute must visit for craft beer if you are in Athens.“

“Found our new sushi spot!! Would highly recommend the September roll, crazy dragon roll, sunrise roll, & spicy tuna roll. Very fresh and tasty. Actually had leftovers from two rolls. “Almost Duluth quality kbbq!! It’s very similar to 9292 which is my favorite kbbq place in Duluth.

The meats are always very well seasoned and delicious. I always love a good kbbq with plenty of choices for side dishes and this place is it!! They come with a salad, tons of kimchi, rice and the fish cakes are amazing!! My favorite part tho is the cheese corn.

Their alcoholic drinks are also delicious and I personally love their Soju drinks.“

“I am a South Georgia girl who has been waiting for the Athens, GA location to open. Let me just say that the workers at the Athens location were AMAZING!! I was so excited to eat Surcheros again, but now I can’t wait for a chance to dine in with them! I am almost positive I was greeted by every person working and they all were so cheery and had smiles on their faces. This is definitely an environment I want to eat in and people I want to talk to! The abundant veggies are another plus. Interestingly, this place also offers some Korean-Chinese dishes, and while they’re not exactly the same as in Korea, they still taste good. If you’re tired of overly strong flavors, I highly recommend this place—there’s no real alternative in Athens.“

“While visiting my Aunt in Athens we got take out From the Timothy Road location. We were told an hour. I arrived 50 minutes later, paid and waited about 10 minutes for the server to return to the bar with our order. I could tell the pizza box was not warm but when it was handed to me. When we arrived at my Aunts condo just a few minutes up the road the pizza and pasta were COLD. Frustrating to have to wait for cold food. The salads were good and the taste of the pizza and pasta were good. Next time I guess I’ll order and wait at the bar?“

“Its always a quick sit down. I usually always get seated quickly and get the food fast and fresh. They have the best chicken tenders. They are so incredibly crispy and breaded well. Get them tossed in honey hot and get some ranch to dip them in and your golden. This place knows how to fry chicken. Better than any other spot ive been too. Very inexpensive too.“
