“What an amazing little place to take a pause and enjoy a taste of creamy frozen goodness in a homemade waffle bowl while watching the busy world of Winder, GA, pass by.The creative, original flavors of ice cream displayed in a colorful array are like little tubs of treasure waiting to be shared. "Mom" happily offers a sampling of whatever kind you want, but save room for a detectible sundae of one, two, or three scoops of your favorites.I can only hope that this wonderful little shop will become a fixture and a model for the growth of a delightful downtown Winder.“
“We probably come here somewhere around 4 to 5 times a month. We never eat out but when we do we come here! They are the sweetest family and they treat us like family every time we come❤️The reason we don’t eat out much is because food quality is down everywhere else and we always find that we feel bad after a meal out. NOT THIS PLACE! Food is always fresh and we never feel bad after. You can tell they use good ingredients. The carnitas are the best! We love to come see our friends and get a great meal!“
“We have been coming here for years and can definitely say it’s one of the best local spots for brunch! They have a variety of dishes and daily specials that is always a hit! The environment is cute and cozy while the staff are friendly and welcoming. Their signature whipped coffee is a must! They have a delicious churro waffle but this time, I got the special coconut waffle and it was sooooooo amazing, you didn’t even need to put syrup on it. I am still drooling writing this, it was soooo good! The food always come out hot and fresh! It’s fun coming here because you can also build your own biscuit! “Food Coma! Mimi and I haven't been to O'Shucks in a while as we keep running weekend errands in Athens. I'd rate this a 4.5 as I recalibrated a 5 Star Review for my NYC Vacay at Michelin Star Restaurants. This is a great neighborhood seafood eats that we both like to go to being FL Girls. Normally we have the smoked fish spread. But it looked like there was a menu update and I ordered a Dozen Fully Loaded Oysters which were baked with plenty of parmesan, garlic, and bacon. I had the Monster Fried Food Combo Basket but I'm not into fries and coleslaw. They let me sub out for boiled garlic potatoes and fried okra. My platter had fried fish, oysters, jumbo scallops and jumbo shrimp. I basically took an entire filet of boneless fish home. And I'm usually a big lunch eater who orders extra seafood on the side. Mimi had Whiskey Shrimp Pasta which was a cream sauce with caramelized onions and bacon which I've had before and is really good. Today's dessert special was a Tiramisu with Espresso soaked lady fingers and thick cream topping. Mimi opted for her go to dessert of a brownie with ice cream and toppings. The service is usually always friendly and great at this restaurant. We are definitely putting this back on rotation!“
“Came in for the first time today ordered the 3 plate meal and chicken wings. Told only a few wings left and out of some meat however niyah and Jai waited on me offering alternatives and were extremely nice and helpful. For my birthday they offered me a dessert which was delicious also a discount for my inconvenience. Will be back again. Service was excellent.“
