He was great with fixing the issues and making the situation better considering it was a birthday brunch celebration! He & Jamani even sang Happy Birthday with us to her! “I had a wonderful brunch at this location. Not only was the food delicious and served up in a timely manner but the service was impeccable. My waitress was attentive and polite and the general manager even stopped by to make sure that everything was going well. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. I ordered pancakes and a delicious green juice. My server was very attentive to my allergies and allowed me to make substitutions in my meal to accommodate my nut allergy. This is a must stop brunch spot when you were in Atlanta.“

“Kim was our waitress. She provided excellent service. She was friendly, prompt and checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed. She would do well at any level of restaurant. I know that here in Georgia small eateries pay only $2 to $3 dollars an hour. That means the service people really rely on tips to make ends meet. I noticed that a lot of people do not tip. Being a Californian, tipping is automatically done with the amount depending on the quality of service. Kim would do really well if she was at a prestigious restaurant.“

“The new strawberry shortcake waffle is awesome and doesn't even need syrup! The little shortcake bits on top are sweet and semi soft/semi crunchy. Hopefully this becomes a permanent item. The rest of the food was standard Waffle House fare.“

“This is a great place for good food. The manager is fantastic and seems to do well with her staff. I've gone for a while now at least twice a month. The food has always been fresh, even when they're busy they are very efficient. Shelia is great as well. Everyone there is great, I just don't know all the names.
Great place, highly recommend and I hope the corporate office reads this and any employee there should bring this to their next review to remind them how a well run store and great people get results.“

“Just tried Maple Street for the first time this past week and it was great! I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Delicious! And the biscuits are huge and fluffy, not dry. My hubby had chicken and waffles and he gave it two thumbs up as well. The food was served in a very timely manner. The place *does* get busy but it's understandable.

I have to give a shout out to the employees. The guy who took our order was so kind and answered our breakfast questions with no problem. I enjoyed the whole experience and look forward to going back.“

“Had a late lunch here. Ended up ordering a side of French toast and a side of bacon since I didn’t want a lot of food and most menu listings included several items.

The French toast was very good, as was the crème anglaise and raspberry sauce. Bacon was perfectly crisp and delicious.

Hubby gave me his grits and part of his biscuit. The cranberry apple butter was SO good! I loved the twist on a classic. The biscuit was perfect, soft on the inside with a flaky outer crust. The grits were a pleasant surprise! I’m kind of a grit snob and I enjoyed them very much. I admittedly stole a bite of his scrambled eggs and they were perfectly cooked.

No pictures of the food, but the restaurant was bright and cheery and the staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely go back.

“Ms. D is a godsend in the Atlanta community, specifically the Historic West End. Follow them on IG and fb for updates on live music. They cater, and rent their dining room for special events. They're also an in-restaurant full service dining room. Ate there today for brunch at about 11am, and my friend had the burrito with vegan sausage and vegan cheese replacement and devoured it. The fresh fruit bowl she got with it was so ripe and perfect! I ordered shrimp quesadillas, which were remarkable, with a yummy, very fresh and crisp green salad. They had ginger tea, caffeinated and decaf coffee. Service was excellent. They've partnered with the city of Atlanta to hire teen waitstaff throughout the summer for fair pay. Nothing is more wholesome, mom and pop, and worthy of support and celebration than a true community based business! I will always support this eatery!“
