“Just want to give a shout out and a great big THANK YOU to Scott's Walk-Up Bar-B-Que in Cartersville. Yesterday we were already stressing a little at work when we realized we had about 20 more guests than expected, coming to a very special, upper management, retirement luncheon. We left immediately and ran into Scott’s a few mins early for our pickup, in hopes that we could buy extra food to have enough. We told them where we were from and that we were there to pick up our order but needed to add to it if it all possible. They started looking at each other and things quickly felt a little uncomfortable, and sheer panic set in for us. We told them we had been talking to Julie and they said, “we don’t have a Juile. You must have ordered from the Scott’s in South Ga!” Dear Lord did the panic set in then!!! I said we have 70 people coming for a retirement luncheon in about 45 mins! Can you please help us??!! They asked what we needed, which included six butts with slaw, potato salad and beans and more tea. They quickly went to work and had us out of there in about 20 mins. THEY SAVED US AND WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL!!! And, as always, their food was amazing!! Please go support this business!! They are in Cartersville on Tennessee St. And keep them in mind if you are having an event in the area and are looking for great BBQ. They will take care of you! “Smok'n "BUTTS" BBQ is 5?The best home cooked meals and desserts by far. They have catered several large events for my church and they are always on point. “Tuesday, Aug. 12th at Longhorns E. Main Street in Cartersville, GA was great. All of our boxes were checked: bright atmosphere different from other very dark Longhorn Restaurants, cushioned comfortable chairs for our older family, and the service was AMAZING. Matt, our server, was so kind and patient while we asked many questions and he helped make our lunch into a birthday party! We each truly enjoyed our food and friendship even with the other parties at neighboring tables.“

“I take my client out to eat twice a month and we have went to different restaurants in Acworth and she wanted some barbecue so a neighbor of mines had told me that they had a good barbecue pork sandwich but she didn't like the barbecue pulled pork,pork in the ribs was too fatty and the macaroni cheese was dry and didn't have no taste to it, only thing that was good was the fried okra and the roll ,and the Sprite at the machine it was nasty. she didn't like the coleslaw cuz it had pieces of the core all in it, so she took about four bites out of her pulled pork in a olive baked beans sell for a teaspoon of it but she said she didn't want to come back we should have asked for a refund but she said it was okay she just won't come back“

“Did the Brunch buffet today. Everything I sampled was good to excellent. Definitely no complaints. All the staff were helpful, courteous, and smiling. JD even played a pinball game with my 2 grandsons. My only complaint, if you want to call it that,was being charged for ice tea. Trust me, that won't stop us from going again. EXCELLENT!!“

“Longhorn is always a good choice.
Experience was good. Didn't give 5 stars because we ordered the Parm crusted chicken and it came out extremely salty. Waitress said she had several complaints on it and we weren't the only ones. (Why would you keep serving that batch if so many people complained)
They made it right with a fresh one but by that time we had finished the rest of our meal.
Other than that. Everything was good“
